Job Title: Technical Expert - Nigeria Water and Sanitation
Location: Abuja
Responsibilities and Duties

• International Resources Group (IRG), an Engility company, is currently seeking for a Water and Sanitation Engineer for an anticipated USAID-funded water and sanitation activity in Nigeria.

• Water/sanitation utility establishment, management, privatization, and/or reform
• Water sector financing, including tariff structures and reform, operation and maintenance financing, cost recovery, capital improvements and system expansion, and related areas
• Rural water service provision
• Fecal sludge management
• Business model development for sustainable urban sanitation
• Water/sanitation service delivery and reform, including both provision and regulation
• Reform of state water entities and institutions (financial management, governance, human resources and related areas)
• Private sector engagement and participation within the water/sanitation sector

• Water Supply, Wastewater and Sanitation Specialist
• Institutional Strengthening Specialist
• Project Management and Operations Specialist
• Human Resource Management Specialist
• Public Financial Management Specialist
• Finance and Accounting Specialist
• Procurement and Grants Specialist
• Water and Sanitation Engineer

• Advanced degree in relevant technical area preferred
• A minimum of five years of experience designing and leading implementation of interventions in one or more of the target areas listed above
• USAID project experience preferred
