Job Title: Video Editor

Location: Sango Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled video editor with a passion for storytelling and visual communication to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing, motion graphics, and multimedia production.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Cap-Cut or DaVinci Resolve is required, along with knowledge of graphic design software like Adobe After Effects, Corel Draw, and Canva.

Responsibilities

  • Edit videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations, ensuring high-quality production standards and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to conceptualize and execute video projects that align with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and engage the audience.
  • Manage video assets, including organization, storage, and archiving, to ensure accessibility and efficiency in production workflows.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing, motion graphics, and multimedia production.
  • Support other multimedia projects as needed, including photography, audio production, and graphic design.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Multimedia Design, Film Production, Digital Media, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in video editing and multimedia production.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, cap-cut.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Residency in Sango Ota, Ogun State, and its environs, or willingness to relocate.
  • Experience with motion graphics and visual effects software like Adobe After Effects is preferred.
