NDT Technician Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a NDT Technician:

High school diploma or an associate’s degree
Must possess a high level of expertise with NDT technologies, such as radiographic, ultrasound, and thermal infrared testing
Must be skilled at analyzing data and assessing readings from a variety of testing methodologies
Should be familiar with best practices in record keeping
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
