The Governing Council of the Kaduna State University wishes to inform the University Community and the general public that the post of the Vice-Chancellor of the Kaduna State University will be vacant after 31st December, 2011.
Applications are therefore invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Vice-Chancellor of Kaduna State University.

Job Title: Vice-Chancellor
The Vice-Chancellor is the Academic and Administrative Head of the University and is responsible to the Governing Council for the day to day management of the institution’s affairs.
Vacancy Qualifications and Experience
• Candidates must have demonstrable ability and understanding of the present day management concepts and practices such as the use of IT for cost effective resource management, generating national and international academic linkages and shrewd fund generation and utilization.
• Candidates must be distinguished academics with vast experience in university management. They must possess a Ph.D degree and have acquired a minimum of fifteen years of teaching and research experience at the University level and must be a professor of at list 10 years standing.



Salaries: Allowances and Other Conditions of Service.
These are attractive and in line with what are applicable in Nigerian public universities.
