The Gombe Leasing Company Limited (goleasing), a major player in the leasing industry with its Corporate Head Office in Gombe, seeks the services of talented, resourceful and experienced persons who must demonstrate a strong technical expertise in the postion.

The Gombe Leasing Company Limited is seeking to fill the below position:

Position: Investment Analyst

Location: Gombe


Job Function
This Job Function is important to the effective operations of goleasing. An employee allocated to this class of work will have the responsibility of providing information and recommendations that enable management to make informed decisions about goleasing investment opportunities. Work is performed under general direction and supervision of a superior officer.

Education and Experience

  • Graduation from an accredited university/polytechnic in an appropriate curriculum and thorough experience related to this class of work; or any equivalent combination of training or experience.
  • A post graduate qualification and/or a professional certification will be required for this Job Function.
  • Interested Candidates must be below 30 years of age with a minimum of three years relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Candidates should possess diplomacy, a meticulous attention to detail, good numerical, organizational and time management skills and a genuine interest in business.
  • Excellent computing, secretarial, interpersonal, team-working and written/verbal communications skills are important.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Researching Companies.
  • Making Informed recommendations.
  • Writing financial research summaries.
  • Meeting with fund managers.
  • Using specialist media sources to gain information about current financial news.
  • Keeping detailed knowledge about the Nigerian Economy (Global Trends) and financial markets.
  • Interpreting Complicated Financial Information.
  • Analysis Company Accounts, profit and loss sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Meeting with company managers to discuss financial matters.
  • Any other function ancillary to above that may be required.
