University of Port Harcourt invites applications from suitably qualified candidates into the following posts in the University's Research Institutes
Institute of Agricultural Research and Development

1.) Asst Research Fellow I

Masters degree in relevant area of specialization from a recognized University; and should also possess a minimum of second class upper division in Bachelors degree.

2.) Research Fellow I

PhD with at least 3 years of teaching and research in a University or comparable institution. Industrial experience as well as Scholarly publications will be an advantage.

3.) Research Fellow II

PhD in relevant area of specialization from a recognized University. Those that have not taught previously are also eligible to apply.

4.) Senior Research Fellow

PhD with at least 6 years of teaching and research in a University. Scholarly publications will be an advantage

Institute of Maternal and Child Health

5.) Senior Research Fellows (Paediatrics)

Fellowship, 10 years experience in Research

6.) Research Fellows (Community Medicine)

Fellowship, 5 years experience in Research

7.) Research Fellows (O & G)

Fellowship, 5 years experience in Research

8.) Research Fellows (Paediatrics)

Fellowship, 5 years experience in Research

Conditions of Service
These are as applicable in the Federal Civil Service and as appropriate in the Nigerian University System.
