Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant posts at the Kaduna State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Kafanchan.

Position: Registrar

The Registrar is responsible to the Provost for the implementation of decisions made by the Governing Council and Academic Committee. He shall by virtue of his/her Office, be the Secretary to the Governing council and the Academic Committee.


Duties:
a.       Taking charge of general administration of the College
b.       Responsible to the Provost of the College
c.       Functions as Secretary to the Governing Council
d.       Functions as Secretary to the Academic Committee
e.       Functions as Secretary to the Statutory Committees
f.       Responsible for keeping all records in the College
g.       Issuing certificate of service


Qualification and Experience:

1. Holder of relevant honours degree from recognized institution of higher learning with at least 14 years cognate experience
2. Holder of a Master Degree from recognized institution of higher learning with at least 12 years cognate experience
3. Holder of Doctorate Degree with at least 10 years cognate experience

Job Position: Provost

The Provost is the Chief Executive and he/she shall be a professionally trained and Registered Nurse/Midwife Educator with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

Duties

1. Shall be responsible to the Governing Council for general administration and academic affairs of the College.
2. Shall direct and coordinate the developmental and academic plans of the College
3. Shall maintains discipline of staff and students
4. Shall be responsible for the day to day running of the Institution

Qualification/Experience
To be eligible for consideration for the post of Provost an applicant must possess the following: -

1. Must be a Registered Nurse or Midwife with first degree in Nursing (possession of masters or Doctorate degree would be an added advantage).
2. Must have a teaching qualification (Registered Nurse/Midwife Educator/PGDE)
3. Must possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years cognate experience, ten of which must have been spent in an educational institution.

Salary
Provost       –        CONTISS 15
