Recent vacancies in Nigeria in a Book Publishing firm, March 2013
Our client, a fast growing Book publishing firm is seeking for energetic and resourceful individuals to fill the following vacancies for her branch offices in Lagos and Benin City.
1.) Marketing Executives
Location: Lagos
Primary Responsibility:
- Source, identify and generate new clients/maintain old clients
- Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to prospective clients
- Response to and follow up enquiries by mails, telephone and personal visits
- Meets company’s target
Qualification and Competence- Minimum of 1 year post NYSC active sales experience
- BSc/HND in Marketing Business Admin or any related courses.
- Ability to speak Yoruba Language will be an added advantage
2.) Marketing Supervisors Location: Lagos
Primary Responsibility;- Assist in the design and production of all marketing communication materials
- Gather information and generate insight on the educational sector to identify existing or expected gaps to meet the needs of existing or potential clients.
- Be actively involved in marketing activities.
- Meet company’s target.
- Effectively monitor and nurture client’s relationships.
- Keep up to date with professional and industry sector news.
Qualification and Competence- Minimum of 2 years post NYSC active sales experience
- BSc / HND in Marketing, Business Admin or any related courses.
- Ability to speak Yoruba Language will be an added advantage.
3.) Marketing Manager Location: Benin City
Primary Responsibility:- Develop and grow the business in the area of the branch where heshe is assigned
- Plan, direct and coordinate the marketing activities
- Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting the management and staff with the development of company’s plans and with evaluation and reporting of progress plans
- Develop and implement specific short and long-terms plans for the Company
- Report directly to the Managing Director
Qualification and competence - Minimum of 3 years post NYSC active sales experience
- BSc/HND or additional degree in Marketing, Business Admin or any related courses
- Ability to speak Yoruba language will be an added advantage.
4.) Proofreaders
Location: Benin
Primary Responsibility:- A good standard of English, especially grammar and spelling
- High level of concentration, accuracy and attention to details
- Good IT skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self motivation
Qualification and Competence- Minimum of 1-3 years post NYSC Media/Publishing experience
- BSC/HND in English Language. Mass Communications or any related courses.
