Africa Magic seeks to appoint a self-motivated individual to assume responsibility as a Research and Intelligence Lead for Africa Magic. This person will report to the Regional Director for West Africa and will be based at our offices in Lagos, Nigeria.
 
CONTEXT
The Research division’s main purpose is to strategically support and proactively provide Africa Magic, and the various channel clusters, with relevant research into their target markets, content selection, scheduling, competition, audience viewing behaviors and general content consumption trends.  This is to successfully support business decision-making with strategic insight (short and long-term). 
 
The Research & intelligence Lead is required to support Africa Magic channel clusters with content and audience research, findings, interpretations and strategic recommendations.  It entails the collation and interpretation of data, as well as the ability to gain market intelligence and proactively communicate insight into strategic decisions impacting on the channel division’s performance. With ultimate responsibility for researching, compiling, analyzing, reporting and leveraging data and other audience measurement information to deliver prescriptive insights that drive audience and business development for Africa Magic/M-net channels and local productions.

CONTEXT
The Traffic Lead will be responsible for overseeing the traffic function related to content destined for Africa Magic channels and platforms. The strategy of the traffic function involves the successful and timeous delivery and processing of all content acquired by the Channel Teams.  The Traffic Lead will manage and work with their team, which include the traffic planning, traffic coordination, traffic quality control functions.  This person should implement and Lead the content traffic strategy for Africa Magic and ensure cost-effective, efficient internal and external content delivery and processing workflows.  This person will be required to regularly meet and work with the major stakeholders of M-Net/Africa Magic
