Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment in the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi for the following posts.
Position: Principal Nursing Sister/Superintendent II/Senior Nursing Officer
(CONHESS09)
Qualification:
- Must be a registered Nurse/ Midwife. Candidates applying for SNO must possess a recognized B.Sc. in Nursing plus the registration of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with at least six year post qualification cognate experience. Those with an additional qualification in any of the following nursing specialties will be an added advantage.
a. Nurse Anaesthetist
b. Paediatrics Nursing
c. Ophthalmic Nursing
d. Orthopeadics Nursing
e. Plastic and Burms Nursing
f. Accident and Emergency Nursing
g. Psychiatric Nursing
Position: Senior Nursing Sister/ Superintendent / Nursing Officer I (CONHESS 08) Qualification: - Must be a registered Nurse/ Midwife with at least 4 years post qualification cognate experience.
- Candidates applying for Nursing Officer I must possess a recognized B.Sc. in Nursing plus the registration of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with at least three year post qualification cognate experience. Those with an additional qualification in any of the following nursing specialties will be an added advantage.

d. Orthopeadics Nursing
e. Plastic and Burms Nursing
f. Accident and Emergency Nursing

Position: Nursing Sister/Superintendent/Nursing Officer II (CONHESS 07) Qualification: - Must be a registered Nurse/ Midwife with at least 2 years post qualification cognate experience.
- Candidates applying for Nursing Officer II must possess a recognized B.Sc. in Nursing plus the registration of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and NYSC discharge Certificate.
- Those with an additional qualification in any of the following nursing specialties will be an added advantage.

Position: Medical Records Technician: (CONHESS 5) Qualification: - Candidates must possess a National Diploma in Health information and must be registered with Medical Records Registration Board.
