Job Title: Financial Adviser
Details
Oversees the day-to-day activities of the finance team and ensures the organization's finance function is organizaed to produce accurate financial and management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team
  • Initiates and ensures necessary implementation of accountinglfinancial conlrols measures in the organizaUon
  • Leads in the preparation of budgets. forcasts and cash flows
  • Prepares statutory and internal financlal reports
  • Initiates Annual Stock-taking of Assets. ensures their safe-keeping the Assets Register update
  • Maintenance of financial books and accounting processes
Profile
  • BSc/HND and fully qualified ACA, ACCA/CIMA [or equivatent] with prsvous financial control and management reporting experience
  • Demonstrable experience in managing accounting teams
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrabte good attention to detail, good judgement and logical decision making
  • Strong computer literacy with solid understanding of accounting software principles.
  • Knowledge of Navision will be an added advantage


Job Title: Financial Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains the MFSII accounts for accuracy
  • Supports in the development of financial policies, guidelines. strategies and programmes
  • Supports in enforcing the usage of all programme expenditure/resource in line with the annual plan and budget
  • Collaborates Ytlth the finance team in the preparation of the NA's annual budget
  • Supports in the establishment of mechanisms for a continuous monitoring and evaluation of the operations department
Profile
  • Bachelor Degree/HND in Accountancy. Additional professional qualification will be an advantage
  • Financial management skill.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office packages & financial package]
  • Minimum of 5 years cognate working experience
  • Expenence in an NGO will be added advantage


Job Title: Project Accountant
Profile
  • Bachelor Degree/HND in Accountancy.
  • Additional professional Qualification will be an advantage
  • Financial management skill.
  • Basic computer skills (windows, word, excel and financial packages)
  • Minimum of 3 years cognate working experience.


Job Title: Youth Counsellor
Details
The role of the Youth Counseiior is to guide individual youth. accompany them through their career, contribute to the quality of youth care and organise youth activities within the frame of the SOS family child-care model as well as ensuring Ihat the individual needs and rights of children are addressed and protected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guides the personal development of the youths
  • Creates opportuniUes for contact with the youths' biological family. SOS family and community
  • Supports the educauonal and career development of the ycuL~s
  • Supports the SOS mothers and village life
  • Fulfils administration and managing duties
Profile
  • BSc Psychology/B Ed. Education (Guidance & Counselling)
  • Expertise in child/and or youth care
  • Knowiedge of national child welfare system and child rights/child protect
  • Familiar and aware of UNCRC (UN Child Rights Convention) and Child care Acts and other relevant national child care legislations
  • Team spirit
  • 5 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of success


Job Title: Nurses
Key Responsibilities
  • Discharges primary healthcare in the village
  • Assists in the programme design on heahhcare, nutrition and HIViAIDS for community projects
  • Collaborates with in-house Clinic staff in the management and control of clinic drugs and disposables
  • Maintains a top-class hygienic environment in the clinic
  • Renders advice on heal!h matters as may be required
Profile
  • Must be registered nurse (SRN/SCM)
  • Good public health experience
  • 3 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong interpersonal human relations skills


Job Title: Music Teachers
Profile
  • Minimum of NCE in Early Chldhood Education
  • Adequate knowledge of modern teaching tools
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience


Job Title: Mothers/Families Assistants
Profile
  • NCE,OND in any discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience with Children
  • Ability to speak English Language fluently and at least a Nigerian Language e.g. (Hausa, Ibo or Yoruba) is a requirement.
  • Good skills in home management
  • Previous work experience in a non-governmental Organization (NGO) is an added advantage
