Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

• Responsible for leading the Mechanical Maintenance Department on site reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager
• Working towards actively, maximizing the availability and efficiency of our Power Stations.
• Providing engineering guidance to manage the risks associated with Mechanical plant and equipment.
• Managing major overhaul work, recommending and delivering schemes for improvements as appropriate, you’ll also ensure compliance with safety legislation and directives.

• Candidates should possess a minimum of HND qualification.
• Minimum of three years experience in similar role.

• Focus on maintenance activities to achieve optimum availability and reliability of mechanical plant
• Repair and overhaul of equipment related to operation of large power plant e.g. large rotating pumps, turbines and valves
• Ability to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment
• Carry out specification, installations, inspections, testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines in relation to highest industry standards.

• Candidates should possess a minimum of City and Guilds qualification.
• Minimum of three years experience in similar role.

• Responsible for leading the Electrical Maintenance department on site reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager
• You’ll provide engineering guidance and manage the risks associated with Electrical plant and equipment.
• Managing major overhaul work, recommending and delivering schemes for improvements as appropriate, you’ll also ensure compliance with safety legislation and directives.

• Candidates should possess a minimum of HND qualification.
• Minimum of three years experience in similar role.

• Ability to supervise preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment.
• Ability to coordinate all technicians to achieve seamless team work and efficiency
• Manage and maintain all mechanical activities in the CMMS to comply with company standard.
• Analyze and troubleshoot operations and maintenance related faults within systems and prepare analytical situation report to the mechanical engineer
• Ability to Support and deputize for the Mechanical Engineer during his leave and Holiday periods

• Candidates should possess a minimum of City and Guilds qualification.
• Minimum of three years experience in similar role.

• The Control Operator is responsible for leading all day to day activities in the plant.
• Ensure all power plants are operated and maintained in a safe and efficient manner.
• Coordinate activities between the sites Technicians.
• Perform filings with local, state& federal regulatory agencies.
• Review and approve operating reports.

• Candidates should possess relevant qualification.
• Minimum of three years experience in similar role.

• Provide expertise and best practice implementation with regard to the planning and scheduling discipline for Maintenance and Outage works. SAP desirable.
• Advanced planning, scheduling, progress measurement, change management implementation and analysis that may involve a major project or several smaller projects.
• Assist Maintenance Manager in preparation of all Project Controls reports including scheduling updates and analysis, progress reporting, change management and various reporting for management.
• Provide analysis and reporting for special and/or specific Planning and Scheduling issues.

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualification.
• Minimum of three years experience in similar role.

• Focus on maintenance activities to achieve optimum availability and reliability of electrical equipment.
• Ability to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment
• Carry out preliminary investigation on equipment failures and ensure repair works are completed safely in a timely manner.
• Execution of any electrical related works to highest industry standards.

• Candidates should possess minimum of City and Guilds qualification.
• Minimum of three years experience in similar role.

• Ability to supervise preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment.
• Execution of any electrical related works to ensure appropriate standard of all safety and environmental standards are achieved.
• Participate in the diagnosis and repair of major equipment faults and breakdowns, compiles the field data for further technical evaluations.
• Ability to Support and deputize for the Electrical Engineer during his leave and Holiday periods.

• Candidates should possess a minimum of City and Guilds qualification.
• Minimum of three years experience in similar role.

• Focus on maintenance activities to achieve optimum availability and reliability of mechanical plant.
• Ability to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on I & C equipment.
• Loop diagrams: Applicants must be able to read and understand loop diagrams, these includes: - DCS to marshaling panel to instrument in field.
• Calibration of instruments.
