A frontline full service Investment Banking firm with regional expansion focus and growing franchise in Asset Management, Stock Broking, Private Equity and Alternative Financing seeks to fill a number of roles as part of its strategic business acquisition and growth plan.
The firm requires the services of forward looking and high flying individuals to fill the below opportunities across its business units:

Job Title: Analyst - Private Equity
Location:
Lagos
Specific Skills, Knowledge and Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Economics, Finance or any of the Numerate disciplines with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division
  • An MBA with a reputable University as well as any of the industry professional qualiflcation such as ACA,CFA etc. Related industries will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to prepare and present investment recommendations to internal committees and clients.
  • Ability to support fund raising efforts for private equity, realestate funds etc.
  • Client relationship management support including ongoing portfolio management and reporting activities and capacity to discretely handle highly confidential and sensitive information:
  • Work with legal counsel to review deal terms, negotiate and execute investment transactions.
  • Develop and manage Investment deal flows in the sector of focus of the Private Equity fund.
  • Supervise junior analysts/interns including training on investment analysis and internal processes.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within Private Equity Alternative Investment Pension Fund Administration and investment management environment
  • Must have demonstrable experience in leading teams through an entire chain of deal closing program in the last 2 years
  • Strong financial statement analysis and financial modelling capabilities
  • Ability to analyze and conduct due diligence on private equity deals, real estate, real assets and emerging markets focused fund & coinvestment opportunities, including building/modifying discounted cash flow & LBO valuation models

Job Title: Head Structured Trade Finance Unit
Location:
Lagos
Specific Skills, Knowledge and Responsibilities
  • A first Degree or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of investment banking experience covering Structured Trade.
  • Experience in performing statistical analysis, modelling and valuation.
  • Experience in presentation and use of Microsoft office tools.
  • Knowledge of the accounting and tax implications relevant to corporate finance type transactions.
  • Origination of business (Public & Private Sectors)
  • Good understanding of the workings of Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC)/Sponsor individual with SEC an advantage, BPE, PENCON, NAICOM.
  • Good understanding of the workings of Multilateral Funding Institutions, Export Credit
  • Agencies andTrade Finance Institutions.

Job Title: Analysts - Agri-Business
Location:
Lagos
Specific Skills, Knowledge and Responsibilities
  • A first Degree or Masters Degree in Agric Science, Agronomy, Agric-business, Agric Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3 to 4 years Agri-business experience in commercial bank. or agribusiness consulting or agri-business investment focused firm
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Agri-business Value Chain Financing
  • Knowledge in preparing the framework for evaluating agric-business investments.
  • Knowledge in researching, managing/monitoring and reporting on agri-business investment portfolio.
  • Profiling organizing structuring and presenting clients for generic and agri business specific funding especially through collaboration with commercial banks to access National and International Agricultural financing from local and multi-lateral grant making agencies 
  • Ability to provide solid technical, operational and market development insight to clients Experience in performing statistical analysis, modelling and valuation.
  • Sound knowledge of agri products and commodities markets and asset performance.
  • Developing investment proposals and annual operational plans for client projects or corporate proprietary agri-business portfolio.
