JOB TITLE:  TEAM LEAD, DEVELOPER
Location Lagos
Job Type: Permanent - Full time
JOB DESCRIPTION
S.S. Afemikhe Consulting is looking to hire an experienced PHP developer to lead other software developers in all ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching. Candidates for this position will also likely to analyze customer business and technical problems/requirements, enhance and customize our products, and build new components to deliver our customers software solutions meeting their unique requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead other software developers
  • Design, develop, and release sophisticated PHP applications for enterprise based feedback, engagement and collaboration systems.
  • Produce detailed specifications
  • Perform technical analyses
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Follow industry best practices
  • Champion the company’s culture and development methodology within assigned projects/teams.
  • Ability to identify, monitor and communicate project status, progress, issues and risks effectively.
  • Assume responsibility for the successful deployment of customer projects and manage client expectations and timeline commitments.

  • Production Server - Code Deployment, Debugging, Updating, and Maintaining
  • Strong Application Design skills and Clean Logic a must!
  • Knowledge of PHP frameworks like Lavera etc
QUALIFICATION
  • BSc. Degree in Computer Science or other relevant background is desired
  • 5+ years PHP Development experience


JOB TITLE:  PHP DEVELOPERS (2 POSITIONS)
Location: Lagos
Job Type:  Permanent - Full time
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for PHP developers who are dedicated to their craft, write codes that they are proud of and can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways.
You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write “clean”, well designed code
  • Produce detailed specifications
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Follow industry best practices
  • Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven software development experience in PHP
  • Good understanding of PHP frameworks Laravel etc
  • Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, PHP etc
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
  • Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
QUALIFICATION
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any IT  related subject
  • 0-2 years PHP development experience
