Job Title: Physiotherapist
Location: Damaturu, Yobe
Qualifications & Experience

• Candidate must possess a BSc in Physiotherapy or Occupational Health and Rehabilitation from recognised institution with NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• Candidate must be registered with the Medical Rehabilitation and Therapy Board of Nigeria.

• Candidate must possess a diploma in Optical Dispensing from recognized institution.
• Candidate must be registered with Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria

• Candidate must possess a Doctor of Optometry or equivalent from recognised institution with NYSC discharged certificate or exemption.
• Candidate must be registered with Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria.

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language studies or equivalent as Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from recognised institution with NYSC discharged certificate or exemption.
• Candidate must be registered with the Medical Rehabilitation and Therapy Board.

• Candidate must possess a diploma in audiology, HND in Science Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement or equivalent qualification.
• Candidate must be registered with the Medical Rehabilitation and Therapy Board of Nigeria.

• Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Audiology from recognised institution with NYSC discharged certificate or exemption.
• Candidate must be registered with the Medical Rehabilitation and Therapy Board of Nigeria.

• Candidate must possess minimum of B.Sc in Dietetics or Higher National Diploma In Dietetics from a recognized institution with NYSC discharged certificate or exemption.

• Candidates must have completed the prescribed three years training program at the school of Health Technology and obtained Registration with Pharmacist Council of Nigeria (PCN).

• Candidate must possess a B.Sc /HND in Health Records Administration, Health Information Management or Bic-statistic from a recognized institution or its equivalent with NYSC discharge/exemption certificate.
• Candidate must be registered with the Health Records Registration Board of Nigeria or relevant professional body.
• Possession of certification in computer studies or data processing will be an added advantage.

• Candidate must possess a Diploma in Health Information Management or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
• Candidate must be registered with the Health Records Registration Board of Nigeria.

• Candidate must possess Bachelor of pharmacy degree with NYSC discharge certificate or exemption.
• Candidate must be registered with Pharmacist Council of Nigeria (PCN).

• Candidate must possess Bachelors Degree in Radiography (B. Rad.) from a recognized University or any other qualification registered with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) plus at least eight (8) years post qualification cognate experience.

• Candidate must possess B.Sc Nursing with NYSC discharge/exemption certificate or Registered Nursing (RN) certificate.
• Candidate must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria,
• Candidate must possess current practicing license.
• Post basic qualification in any of the following areas: - Accident & emergency, Anaesthesia, ENT, ICU, Ophthalmology, Pen-operative or Renal care nursing will be an added advantage.

• Candidates must possess MB.BS from a recognized institution.
• NYSC discharge certificate or exemption.
• Candidates must be registered with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria with a minimum of 2 years cognate experience.

• Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications; Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, Fellowship of the West African Postgraduate Medical College or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• All qualifications must be registerable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• Candidates should as appropriate, apply in any of the following areas:
  • Surgery - Anaesthesia, Dental surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat surgery, Ophthalmology.
  • Radiology
  • Laboratory Medicine Chemical Pathology, Haematology, Histopathology, Medical Microbiology.
  • Medicine - Family Medicine and Nephrology

• All appointments of successful candidates may be permanent after 2 years of probation period.
• This is, however, subject to review and possible confirmation upon satisfactory recommendations by the appropriate Heads of Department, except for those joining the service on transfer of service.
• As has been indicated, salaries and other fringe benefits and all other conditions as applicable and in line with the provisions of salary structure and fringe benefits for Medical and Health Workers as contained in the existing circulars.
