Olive Multi-Specialist Hospital Vacancy for a Consultant Cardiologist

The Olive Multi-Specialist Hospital, in collaboration with the Platinum Hospital India was established to improve access to advanced medical and surgical interventions. We provide a range services from surgical solutions to internal medicine solutions. Olive Multispecialist hospital also has a customized helipad, which offers a unique field to hospital helicopter rescue service. In a typical emergency a helicopter will be dispatched from a partner service and the client will be transported directly to hospital. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Consultant Cardiologist Location: Lagos Job Description

  • Diagnose and treat diseases of heart and its functions.
  • Examine patients for symptoms indicative of heart disorders, using medical instruments and equipment.
  • Refer patients to the interventional cardiologist when need for corrective surgery is indicated.
  • Engage in research to study the epidemiology or clinical effectiveness of diseases peculiar to heart.
  • Examine patients to find health problems caused by a variety of cardiology and internal medicine conditions.
  • Study diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making diagnoses.
  • Prescribe medications, and recommends dietary and activity program, as indicated.
