General Operations Manager in a Digital Advertising Company

Our client is a digital advertising company with an office in Lagos. They are looking to open up branches in Accra and 9 other African countries hence, they want to fill the position below:     Job Title: General Operations Manager Location: Ghana Division/Department: Operations Reports To: Partners Work Relationship: Clients, IT Officer, Partners Job Summary Responsible for tracking and managing ongoing advertising projects. Identifies new business opportunities by conducting research and following up on potential business leads. Ensures client satisfaction by confirming that clients’ adverts are uploaded based on the specifications and that regular picture reports are forwarded. Essential Job Functions Project Management

  • Acts as the point of contact to existing clients on digital advertising projects and inquiries;
  • Manages any number of advertising projects at various stages of work;
  • Consults with clients to ascertain the project requirements, estimated costs and project duration;
  • Works closely with the IT Officer to ensure that picture reports of adverts are uploaded;
  • Prepares clients invoices and tracks payments;
  • Prepares reports on the status of ongoing projects and forwards to the partners;
  • Tracks live adverts and ensures that project specifications are adhered to;
  • Represents company in project meetings;
  • Manages requisition supplies and materials to complete project;
  • Formulates reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling and forwards to Directors on a regular basis.
Business Development
  • Conducts research to identify new business opportunities;
  • Schedules meetings with potential clients and draws up proposals;
  • Reviews and monitors advertising strategy for the company;
  • Prepares and submits regular reports and suggestion documents to management about company health and new initiatives in progress based on carried out research;
  • Creates and implements strategies for existing accounts aimed at generating new business opportunities;
  • Initiates and implements plans and strategies to help the company minimize its losses andincrease revenues;
  • Identifies potential business deals by exploring partnerships in the marketplace and tracks new business opportunities;
  • Works closely with key clients to keep them updated on process changes designed to improve service;
  • Prepares presentations on digital marketing service to potential clients;
  • Schedules follow up meetings with clients. Client Relationship Management
  • Develops and maintain effective business relationships with all clients;
  • Liaises with potential and existing clients about business potentials and opportunities;
  • Acts as a point of contact to resolve client complaints and respond to inquiries;
  • Identifies key staff within the client’s company and develops personal and profitable relationships;
  • Monitors all active projects and provides regular project status reports;
  • Follows up on potential clients and works actively to secure business deals;
  • Conducts research on competitors and market and develops strategic plans to retain clients;
  • Ensures client satisfaction through regular feedback and post-project evaluation.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution
Technical Requirements
  • Technology savvy
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools – Excel and PowerPoint ( mandatory)
