Store Keeper in a Leading Media and Entertainment Company


Teclab Management Services Limited - Our client, a leader in the media and entertainment Industry with branches all over the country, seeks to employ the services of:     Job Title: Store Keeper Location: Lagos/Enugu/Cross River Responsibilities

  • Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the work activities of an agency or institution warehouse.
  • Determines items and quantities of stock to be purchased and maintained.
  • Controls the disbursement of supplies and material through directing the posting of inventory control cards or automated systems.
  • Responsible for the physical quantity of the goods received and dispatched by warehouse.
  • Responsible to ensure and maintain the status Identification and the Traceability of stored Goods as per Quality System procedures.
  • Responsible to maintain accurate inventory and provide the same for material planning function.
  • Inspects items as to quality and quantity against freight documents.
  • Resolves discrepancies in requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery reports by contacting vendors.
  • Stocks materials according to a prescribed inventory system.
  • Counts, weighs, and measures goods received or issued.
  • Directs the maintenance and operation of gas, electric, or hand operated stores equipment.
  • Establishes standards and methods for packaging and storing supplies and materials.
  • Estimates cost and assigns account codes to items purchased. Unpacks incoming goods and wraps and packs outgoing goods.
  • Responsible for on-time supply of goods to his customers following FIFO/FEFO.
  • Responsible to monitor the usable life of stock items and inform the management of near expiry goods.
  • Responsible for all documentation of Goods transactions under his custody as per Quality System procedures and to maintain up to the retention period.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum SSCE / OND in any relevant field
  • Relevant 3years’ experience in a similar role.
