Financial Reporting Manager In a Reputable Electronics and Home Appliances Company

A leader in assembling, distributing and marketing of Electronics and Home Appliances in Nigeria; operates a number of branches cut across Nigeria’s geopolitical zones covering major cities such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Onitsha, Enugu, Kano and Abuja, seek to engage a suitable candidate for the role below:     Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Reports to: Chief Financial Officer Responsibilities

• Prepare Annual Operating Plan (AOP) – Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statements
• Prepare the monthly Management reports
• Prepare the annual statutory financial statement
• Investment / project financial evaluations and decision support
• Prepare the Outlook financials and analysis through the monthly Risk & Opportunities process

• Budget process
• Business performance measurement
• Investment analysis
• Performance ratios
• IFRS Reporting

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or other related field. A Post-graduate degree will be an added advantage
• Must be a Member/Fellow of a recognized Accounting professional body: ICAN/ACCA/CIMA
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Financial Reporting with5 years at Management/Leadership levels.
• Proven track record of influencing at senior management level
• Clear and succinct communicator both culturally aware and adaptable
• Experience with an ERP would be an added advantage
• Experience of financial analysis and modelling techniques, practically applied within a retail/Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Telecommunication or Manufacturing environment
• Track record of success in highly demanding environment
• In market knowledge – understands and relates to sales and marketing terminology and key performance drivers
