Job Title: Group Head - Information Technology Location: Lagos Job Description

This role is responsible for the leadership, direction and daily operations management of the department to ensure an enabling and secure platform for seamless business transactions.
This covers strategic planning, compliance and control; business planning and development of technical plans and implementation to drive the business strategy and growth; effective project and resources management (including human and financial); infrastructure, data warehousing and security, among others.

Requirements

A good first degree in Engineering, Statistics, Science or Technology background/certification in Information Technology, Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems. A Masters degree is advantageous.
Minimum of 10 years post-graduation cognate experience obtained preferably from the financial services industry of which 5 years must be at a senior management level.
The successful candidate must be skilled in financial planning, human resources management, vendor management and stakeholder engagement.
The successful candidate for the role must be technology-driven, a solution provider and globally focused.
Demonstrable business and IT integration competence, multiple project management and cross-functional initiatives implementation.
