We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Account Executive Ref No: VAL ACE 002 Location: Lagos Job Description
  • We wish to employ an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, motivated and highly organised individual with good communication and interpersonal skills to fill the position of Account Executive in our Company.
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for update and maintenance of cashbook
  • Manage the day to day accounting functions of the company
  • Prepare for management, monthly accounting report and bank reconciliation statement
  • Prepare and post relevant journal entries into the financial system.
  • Maintain petty cash float including issuing cash, balancing float and preparing monthly reconciliations.
  • Prompt and accurate balancing and posting of all receipts within financial system.
  • Banking of cash and cheques in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with banks and external organisations regarding funds received
  • Responsible to file all statutory returns
  • Liaise with and provide information to third parties like external auditors
  • To assist with financial planning and record keeping of the company’s account
Qualification and Work Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of HND/BSc in Accounting, or any relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial sector
  • Must be conversant with Microsoft Excel and at least one Accounting software e.g. QuickBooks, Peachtree, Sage etc.
  • A professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) would be an advantage
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive in an Investment Company is an added advantage.
Skill Required:
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
      Job Title: Business Development Executive REF. VAL BDE 001 Location: Lagos Job Description
  • We wish to employ an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, motivated and highly organised individual with good communication and interpersonal skills to fill the position of Business Development Executive in our Company.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop business proposals for existing and new customers
  • Engage in market research in order to identify new opportunities for business
  • Explain to potential customers about the various benefits offered by the company and follow them up so as to close business deals
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Develop innovative strategies for retaining clients; this includes undertaking interviews in order to get feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge about the business and its development practices, its marketing activities, prospective clients, and the trends for the industry
  • Supervise database of client relationship management and utilize the result to manage customers and the mailing lists
  • Participate in forums related to the industry; conferences and client discussions as a representative of the company
  • Respond to queries and complaints from clients as regards the company’s services in a timely manner
Educational Qualifications/ Work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in the banking sector
  • Must be conversant with Microsoft Office Suite
