A reputable school in Abuja requires a dynamic, purpose driven, dedicated and result oriented persons to fill the vacant position below:
Job Title: Head Teacher Location: Abuja Job Description Must demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of:

  • Anticipate, lead and manage change.
  • Use research to support and challenge practice.
  • Inspire, challenge, motivate and empower others to attain challenging outcomes.
  • Celebrate achievement and acknowledge excellence.
  • Model the vision and values of the school.
  • Work strategically with governing body.
  • Strategic planning processes, tools and techniques.
  • Ways of achieving stakeholder and community engagement.
  • Leading change, creativity and innovation.
  • Should be able to achieve these expectations competently
  • Increase the population of the school within the shortest expected time.
  • Think strategically, analytically and creatively.
  • Build capacity and achieve sustainability.
  • Deal with complexity and uncertainty.
  • Build a vision and communicate clear purpose and sense of direction.
Qualifications and Experience
  • First degree or higher with related Continuous Professional Development.
  • Qualified teacher status.
  • A minimum of 5years experience as either deputy head or head teacher in a primary school
  • Age range: 35-55 years
  • Experience of more than one school as an assistant/deputy or head teacher with an understanding of more than one curriculum.
  • Teaching experience within the designated age range.
  • Further relevant professional studies.
