• Planning and/or promoting programmes which enhance the academic, social oremotional growth of students, e.g., Curriculum Fair, Career Fair, Graduation, opportunities forstudent enrichment and/or remediation, scholarship opportunities and parentinformational programmes;
• Working with students who have discipline, attendance and academic problemsand are referred by teachers, parents or administrators;
• Guiding each student to choose courses consistent with his/her interests,abilities and career plans;
•  Helping students develop post-secondary educational plans in accordance withtheir interests, abilities and career plans;
•  Assisting students with the completion of college admissions applications;
• Organizing and promoting standardized assessment opportunities andinterpreting test results to students and/or parents on request;
• Assuring that appropriate, accurate information is maintained in each student’spermanent, cumulative record

• Scheduling; counseling students in vocational and career guidance.
• Expected to be very knowledgeable of career preparation in order to provide advice to students regarding education and employment options after high school.
• Supply admission requirements for colleges and training programmes,

• All applicants should possess a minimum of first degree.
• At least 3years cognate  experience in the field
• Master's degree required
• BA/B.Sc./ /HND   PGDE/MBA/MSc/MA
• Teaching certification, prior teaching experience may be required

• Administers first aid to students and staff for minor injuries as needed.
• Assists with the assessment of illnesses, diseases, injuries and certain health screenings ofstudents and staff under the direction of professional staff.
• Assists in the maintenance of medical records and daily logs of clinic visits.
• Reports sensitive situations and/or extensive injuries/illnesses to professional staff for furtherevaluation.
• Ensure that all facilities are functioning and draw the attention of the Maintenance Officer wherever the repairs are necessary.
• Carry out any other assignment instructed or directed by the Principal.

• At least 4years  experience in the field
• BA/B.Sc./B.Nsc /HND   PGDE/MBA/MSc/MA
• The Nurse must be registered
• Must not be above 50years of age
