Whyte Cleon Limited - Our client, a multinational catering company which operates international standard Inflight catering facilities, lounges and restaurants at the Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport and Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, due to its rapid growth and business expansion, seeks to engage vibrant, energetic and bright individuals to fill the role below:     Job Title: Standard Equipment Set Assistant Location: Abuja Responsibilities

• Polish and pack airline equipment into trolleys and standard units according to specifications.
• Receive all washed equipment from Dish Wash unit
• Polish and pack airline equipment into the trolleys and standard unit according to airline’s specification.
• Make requisition of equipment from the airline store to make up for shortages or worn out equipment.
• Deadheading airline equipment in order to ensure compliance of maximum holding stock at hand.
• Handing over of equipment with documentation to internal customers.
• Keep all work area clean to ensure compliance to quality standards

• Position is in busy, non-smoking kitchen environment
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, work with kitchen equipments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts in cold and hot conditions.
• Make yourself available for cleaning during the entire shift
• Knowledge of the operative flow and rules
• Possess relevant experience in an airline hospitality industry
• OND or equivalent qualifications will confer advantage
• Good computer skills desired
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and predictable attendance.

• Delivery of Catering and Truck Maintenance.
• Deliver all catering services on time while complying with delivery and safety rules/ standards;
• While driving a heavy or light vehicle, comply with traffic regulations;
• Ensure cleaning of the vehicle;
• Comply with proper dress code during work hour

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, cold and hot conditions.
• Prompt notification for Repairs and Maintenance of vehicles
• Prompt notification on vehicle maintenance issues
• Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate channels
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in an airline catering or hospitality industry
• O’ levels or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge in airport operations.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent driving skills
• Good communication in English (spoken and written)
• Have valid driver’s license
• Have valid ramp drivers permit.

• Tray set preparations and their loading into trolleys.
• Portioning foods according to customer specifications, including general tray set-up duties
• Ensure cleanliness of utensils, equipment and work area as you go
• Comply at all times with HACCP procedures, good hygiene and production practices.
• Record the handling time and temperatures of all meals plated/tray set at the beginning and end of the process
• Cover, label and store decanted products.
• Cling film, colour code and properly store all bulk items
