Job Title: Branch Sales Manager

Job Summary

  • As a Branch sales manager, you will be responsible for the branch’s sales operations, financial and people management activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organise stock and equipment (When necessary), order supplies and oversee building maintenance, cleanliness and security
  • Plan and work to budgets, maximise profits and achieve sales targets set by the Management
  • Recruit and train new staff on the approval of Management
  • Develop existing staff
  • Coordinate staff scheduling and rotas
  • Motivate and encourage staff to achieve targets
  • Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations and authorities
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained by all frontline employees
  • Handle customer complaints and queries with utmost due diligence
  • Implement branded promotional campaigns from head office, including the handling of point-of-sale promotional materials, or devise your own promotional campaigns
  • prepare reports and other performance analysis documentation
  • Report to, and attend regular meetings with Management or whoever management deems fit

Job Requirements

  • HND/B.Sc in Marketing, Business Administration or any other related field
  • 4 years experience in Sales/Outlet management
  • Outlet Management experience in Hospitality will be an added advantage
  • Excellent Knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point.

 

 

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving budgeted sales and profitability goals within the framework of Company’s overall business objectives.
  • Specifically, the incumbent will call on prospective and current customers in the bakery and fast-food channel, present products, perform demonstrations, make presentations and secure orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Move round the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers by phone.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, either directly or with the help of a sales officers, and emphasizes saleable features.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Works with inside marketing assistant to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Enters new customer data and other market data for current customers into computer database using excel
  • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Attends and/or makes presentations at trade shows and other locations.

Job Requirements

  • Oversee posting, verify, calculate and ascertain actual sales
  • Typically report to a head of the unit and department head
  • Develop global engineering forecasts and budgets
  • Manage the accurate, reliable, and timely reporting for internal requirements
  • Ensure compliance with required external and internal controls
  • Perform different types of tasks as required by head of department.
