We currently have opportunity to place experienced candidates to maintain a number of oil production and utilities pumps in one of our key clients sites in the capacity below:     Job Title: Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Location: Rivers Job Description

  • This successful individual(s) shall have responsibility for engineering design, project management, mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance routines, and break-down maintenance/repairs in a challenging oil and gas production environment.
  • Required experience includes industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, equipment alignment, lubrication, mechanical repairs and installation, pump and seal repair, vibration data collection, work-order documentation.
  • Basic computer skills and industrial electrical experience are a plus. He shall also be responsible for the assignment of task, monitoring and supervision of a team of Pump Maintenance Technicians working directly under him.

Requirements
  • Must have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical Electronics or Civil Engineering with an MSc in any of the stated Engineering fields in addition to an MBA. PHD is an added advantage.
  • Must be COREN and HSE certified. A membership of other relevant professional bodies. Minimum of 10 years of experience, in a well-structured upstream or downstream oil and gas organization.
  • Must have knowledge of rotating equipment, pipe installations, fire and gas system, its functions and maintenance in the oil and gas sector. Ability to understand and interpret engineering designs, RFQ and extraction of MTO.
  • Must possess strong leadership qualities.
  • Must be visionary and result oriented.

Requirements
  • HND/B.Eng/B.Tech from any Nigerian accredited Polytechnic or University with a minimum of a second class lower in Mechanical, Production or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years working experience in diesel driven and electric motor driven crude oil booster, transfer and export pumps, diaphragm pumps chemical dosing pumps, firewater borehole pumps, firewater jockey and main pumps for fire protection, operations and maintenance. It must be of centrifugal to reciprocating pumps type. Have basic electrical systems, single line diagrams.
  • Experience with basic electrical systems, single line diagrams and must possess ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/schematics, P&lDs and OEM documentations.

Requirements
  • Potential candidates interested in the Senior Electrical & Instrumentation/Fire & Gas Technicians position MUST have a B.Eng/HND or relevant qualification in an Electrical/ Instrumentation & Control engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in troubleshooting and interrogating Fire & Gas ESD Function Logic & Control, Level Indication & Control, Measurement & Metering systems, Pressure & Flow Control, Electrical Single Line Diagrams and Electrical Schematics etc.), Power Generation & Synchronization & Power Distribution Systems, DCS Control I/O Interfaces, VSDNFD Motor & Generator Drives & PLC Logic.
  • Have good knowledge and understanding of industry operating standards as it pertains to F&G and general oil and gas practices and technology. Ability to develop detailed electrical & instrumentation/F&G commissioning procedures and commissioning plans. Must be Health, Safety, Security and Environment Certified with good experience in process safety systems on and off site

  • Must have B.Sc/B.Eng/HND in Electrical Engineering, PTI HND Diploma Degree
  • Have at least 5 years’ experience in electrical discipline to carry out routine, corrective and condition based maintenance; fault finding, installation, isolation and re-instatement of offshore/onshore equipment; able to read, interpret and mark up electrical/electronic technical schematic drawings; able to carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance work for all F&G systems (ESD systems), instrumentation and electrical facilities.
  • Having a good background on structural analysis and design of structures and ability to analyse and design engineering structures with Staadpro and do drafting using AutoCAD base on codes and standard with SAP application understanding.

Requirements
  • Potential candidates interested must possess a minimum qualification in Process Engineering either B.Eng/HND or equivalent Engineering discipline. Masters in Process Engineering is an added advantage and must be COREN and HSE certified.
  • Must possess Over 8 years experience in Process Instrumentation and Control in Feasibility& Conceptual studies, FEED, Detail engineering, procurement, inspection, construction, commissioning support in Oil and Gas for both Offshore and Onshore Production Facilities. Have the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/schematics, data sheets & RFO, MTOs, Technical Bids evaluation, P&lDs and OEM documentations. Provide project management on various sizes of projects that could span both gas and liquids clients. Projects will involve both fire and gas EPIC facilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2007, Micro station V7, Plant Design and Management System (PDMS) and Plant Design System (POS), Microsoft Office Utilities (MS Excel, MS Words, MS PowerPoint), Smart Plant & Navisworks for Model Review and Sound Knowledge of some relevant industry codes and standards such as API, ASME, NACE.
