  • To build strong health information centre that will ensure prompt service to patient.
  • To ensure complete and accurate documentation of all patient records and to protect the confidentiality of patient health records.
Key Result Areas (KRA) The key result areas of this role are:
  • Clinical Care
  • Send admission notification to companies
  • Get authorization from companies for specialized investigations and surgeries
  • Prepare medical report for client
  • File Retrieval - Antenatal Clinic

The Person
  • Minimum academic qualification of OND in Health Information Management/Biostatics and a Practicing License.
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience in the health sector.
  • Carry out duties and responsibilities in compliance with Lily hospitals' health and safety policy and statutory regulations.
  • Ensure a clean, comfortable and safe environment for patients, clients and members of staff to help reduce infection.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
  • Outstanding communication (oral and written), interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Possess high degree of accuracy and attention to details.

  • The role is responsible for the design, development evaluation, maintenance and repair of biological and health systems, products and equipment.
Key Result Areas (KRA) The key result areas of this role are:
  • Advice Management in the procurement of any medical devices backed up by extensive research on price, quality and maintenance and after sales service plans.
  • Liaise with technicians and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility of a product in terms of design and economic viability.
  • Provide engineering support to the clinical and diagnostic Departments as approved by the organisations Management
  • Organizing clinical trials for the testing of medical equipment
  • Carry out repair and maintenance of medical equipment
  • Prepare and present spare parts request to the Facility/Maintenance Manager/Procurement Manager in a timely manner to ensure constant availability of supplies.
  • Execute regular safety checks (electrical) and investigate safety related incidents.
The Person 
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Bio-Medical Engineering
  • A minimum of 2-3 years post NYSC work experience in a similar
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Full working Knowledge of the Microsoft office package is required especially with spreadsheet software (Excel).
  • Excellent, negotiation, statistical analysis, communication and people management skills.
  • Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills are required for this role.
  • Good system design and analysis, technology design and programming skills are required for this role.
  • Good operations and systems monitoring and trouble shooting skills are required for this role.

  • This role is responsible for providing competent patient-centered care that addresses health needs and promotes wellness.
  • Such care shall be based on latest medical evidence and guidelines
Key Result Areas (KRA) - The key result areas of this role are: Clinical Care:
  • Resume for work on or before 8am and close not earlier than 5pm provided he has completed all pending duties and has properly handed over the outstanding duties to his colleague on call.
  • Be in attendance at ALL Clinical Meetings: 7:45am on Mondays and 7:30am on Fridays
  • Do a ward round every day of the week. The House Officer must be available for the Registrar/Senior Registrar and Consultant ward rounds and being on the previous call duty would not be taken as an excuse for his/her absence.
  • Prepare presentation of each case before Medical Officer / Registrar, Senior Registrar and Consultant ward round.
  • Must liaise with the Medical Officer / Registrar / Senior Registrar at all times on any issue concerning the management of the patient.
  • See that the instruction given by the Medical Officer or Registrar/Senior Registrar during ward rounds are promptly carried out. This is means that the House-Officer must come back after the round to make sure that things are done appropriately and report to the Medical Officer or Registrar/Senior Registrar where such could not be done.
Requirements
  • The job holder must have a current provisional license to practice medicine from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
  • Knowledge of the basics in Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Surgery.
  • The job holder must have good stamina and empathy for patients.
  • The job holder must have good communication skills, a strong ability to work well under extreme pressure and self discipline.

  • The role is responsible for the daily functional operation of the pediatrics unit, delivery of patient /customer quality care, staff development and continuous quality improvement activities.
Responsibilities Medical Responsibilities:
  • Oversees management of perioperative services operationally and fiscally.
  • Make recommendations to the matron/CNO concerning procedure or policy modifications when necessary and inform department staff of any new procedure or policy implementation introduced by the units’ administration.
  • Facilitates or serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
  • Verifies that perioperative personnel provide safe and effective patient-centered care in perioperative services.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, evaluate and supervise employees in the provision of patient care.
  • Responsible for administering budget, staffing the unit and overseeing staff training.
  • Maintain skill and knowledge by participating in various nurse education programs, seminars, staff meetings and workshops.
Administrative Duties:
  • Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
  • Creates and conveys the mission and vision of perioperative services with the assistance of the management team.
  • Verifies that educational resources are available for perioperative services personnel and holds personnel accountable for compliance with established standards.
  • Coordinates, facilitates, and manages change within perioperative services and the health care institution.
Health and Safety:
  • Carry out duties and responsibilities in compliance with Lily hospitals’ health and safety policy and statutory regulations.
  • Ensure a clean, comfortable and safe environment for patients, clients and members of staff.
The Person
  • Minimum academic qualification of a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Perioperative Nurse,  Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc).
  • 5 years and above relevant work experience in the health sector.
  • Possession of BLS and ACLS training certificate is an added advantage
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and must be licensed to practice as Registered Nurse or Registered Peri- Operative Nurse.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
  • Outstanding communication (oral and written), interpersonal and people management skills.
