Job Summary & Purpose
  • Responsible for providing sound financial leadership to ensure transparency and cost-

  • Ensure the delivery of effective financial decision-making support to the business and its management as well as oversee the development and execution of an effective financial strategy that will ensure optimal returns on investment
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development of annual plans and budgets for the Finance Department and the organization as a whole to support the achievement of the corporate strategy
  • Play active role in the development of the corporate strategy by providing strategic insights on finance and investments
Qualification
  • Minimum of a first degree in a Finance, Accounting, Business or other related discipline

Tasks / Key Responsibilities
  • The Business Development Manager shall concentrate on developing new revenue streams and markets from the products and services through identification of project opportunities and analysis of the marketplace for pertinent strategic opportunities, while optimizing income from existing lines through innovative marketing and rapid exploitation of changing customer needs.
  • He or she must have considerable sales experience, be an organized and strong negotiator, and be aware of and responsive to economic trends, government policies and developments within the work environment. Responsibilities include, contacting potential clients, and working with senior management to position the firm in new markets and business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Successful candidate must have exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills. Individual must be between the ages of 30 - 50 years with a minimum of 10 years experience, 5 of which should be in business development and /marketing. Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and allied discipline will be an advantage.
