We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Operations Coordinator Location: Lagos Job Description

  • Planning, managing, and leading the coordination of daily transit system function and staff. Assuming delegated responsibility in the absence of the Operations Manager/ Director of Operations.
  • Performing supervisory responsibilities which include establishing goals for subordinate employees with a defined process for analyzing results.
  • Working with aligned industry agencies to be complainant across having jurisdiction over the communities and operating environment, through which Libra operates. This includes acquiring licenses, coordinating emergency drills, training, and other required exercises.
  • Developing the Bus Operations budget; monitoring and controlling expenditures.
  • Developing and supervising methods for dispatching vehicles and operators in such a way as to maximize cost-effectiveness and system productivity.
  • Routinely gathering, tabulating, and analyzing transit data.
  • Ensuring that all planned route and special events services are provided. Remaining on call during and providing planning for critical service periods, such as in the event of a major traffic delay, adverse weather conditions and unforeseeable events.
  • Creating and monitoring scheduled time tables for published bus service schedules; creating run sheet and operator runs pertaining to number of days a bus to be scheduled and other specifications used in operations;
  • Coordinating with Libra Transit Planning staff to formulate, establish and promulgate schedules, time points, routes, headways, transfer points and other related activities related to new or existing service changes.
  • Directing investigations to verify and resolve customer or motorist complaints.
  • Coordinating with the safety and training department to ensure all safety goals and directives are met.
  • Assisting in accident/incident investigation, including any needed on-site assistance and support to safety and training personnel.
  • Interviewing, selecting, coaching, training, managing, and appraising the performance of fixed route personnel.
  • Working closely with the maintenance department on bus operations related matters.
  • Performing other duties as required by the Operations Manager/Director of Operations.
  • Implementing rules to ensure that all subordinates are complainant with company tools, systems and set rules as directed by the Human Resource Department
Qualifications
  • This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year university accompanied with minimum of 3-4 years’ experience at a supervisory level in a public transportation organization or related key industry area.

    Job Title: Accountant Officer Location: Lagos Job Description
  • Build relationships based on trust through effective, open and regular communication with internal and external financial and operational management
  • Provide timely, accurate and relevant management information as required to meet the needs of the business
  • Working with Senior Management Team to provide effective analysis for contract progression
  • Working with Transport departments to ensure timely delivery of KPIs e.g. Contract, Finance.
  • Build relationships with various external stakeholders e.g. Customers/Suppliers/3rd party service providers
  • Responsible for maintaining tight, robust internal control standards and complying with financial legislation and reporting
  • Working with other Internal departments to deliver best value to the contract e.g Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement.
  • Work with wider Finance team to ensure consistent, accurate and timely information in an efficient manner
  • Provide leadership to direct reports within team, ensuring continual personal development in the team
  • Manage month end responsibilities in line with internal deadlines
  • Manage and present financial reports, commentaries and statements
  • Manage the production and analysis of financial and statistical information, P&L, BS, Cash

  • Work with the contract Management team to prepare the monthly Forecasts and Annual Budget in line with internal deadlines
  • Manage both internal and external audit schedules
  • Support the contract FD and deputise for them in their absence

Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven people and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the Ferries industry is beneficial, but not essential
  • Experience of SAP is beneficial, but not essential

    Job Title: IT Support Officer Location: Lagos Job Description/Responsibilities The IT Support Officer is responsible for the following:
  • Examine existing IT systems and processes.
  • Defines application problem by conferring with the management team; evaluating procedures and processes.
  • Running regular checks on network access, data security and backup systems.
  • Configure and handle routers, switches, server, Database and Firewall.
  • Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, firewalls, software deployment, security updates, etc.
  • Create and maintain existing websites
  • Web content Management and development
  • Preparation of IT budgets
  • Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
  • Protect systems and servers from external and internal threat by Analyzing and evaluating systems security vulnerabilities

Requirements/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management Sciences, or relevant discipline.
  • 3-5 years post NYSC related work experience.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, database administration and Server administration.
