We are currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:     Job Title: Logistics and Procurement Officer Location: Lagos Description Travel and Hotel Accommodation Logistics:

  • You will be responsible for arranging all local and international flights and hotel accommodation for employees in the Group.
  • You will liaise with the Chief Security Officer to arrange for local and international logistics for employees, clients and delegates.
  • You will work with employees and clients to arrange visas when necessary.
  • You will be charged with finding the best deals for every flight and hotel
Vehicle and Fleet Management Logistics:
  • You will work with the logistics team to ensure that the vehicles within the Group have required documentation.
  • You will ensure that the vehicles are serviced.
  • You will manage the drivers and be the intermediary between them and the Group.
Freight Logistics:
  • You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining contingency plans.
  • You will track shipments to ensure they arrive on time and that shipment processes adhere to all local and international regulations.
  • You will work with the head of logistics and provide support on all aspects of logistics, which include shipping, warehousing and procurement.
  • Other tasks that you will be responsible for include: freight consolidation, cost analysis, routing and scheduling.
  • You will work with the Logistics Manager to review all processes and systems and implement new procedures as needed.
Procurement:
  • You will be responsible for purchasing office supplies and other materials as may be required by the Group.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in English
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Phenomenal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations
  • Ability to work in a team is very important
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to be thorough in research
  • Knowledge of standard logistics procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of warehouse and inventory systems
