We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Front End Engineer Location: Lagos Employment type: Full-time Reports to: VP, Engineering What is the role?

• As a Front-end Developer you will be working as part of a team building and/or optimizing intuitive user experience across all our health insurance platforms.

• Proficiency in Javascript (ES6)
• Knowledge of Component based Design/Development
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessing (Sass preferably)
• Knowledge of Consuming Rest APIs
• Knowledge of JS Build Systems (Gulp, Webpack)
• Knowledge of Git
• Knowledge of a JS framework - React (preferred), Vue or Angular

• Minimum 2 years coding experience.

• As a Back-end developer you will work with a team building and/or optimizing our innovative healthcare management systems.
• You will work with the development team to create user-oriented and high performance applications.

• Proficiency in Laravel (This is the framework we use)
• Proficiency in PHP as well (Some in-house apps are built from ground up; without any framework)
• Proficiency in SQL (Writing raw queries, using joins, optimisations techniques, etc)
• Working experience with RESTFUL web services (Building and consuming)
• Adherence to best practices (Writing usable and maintainable code, writing tests, code versioning).

• Minimum 2 years coding experience.

• A member of our tech team will reach out to you within 2 weeks of the close of applications to schedule coding tests and interviews. If you don’t hear back from us within 2 weeks of the close of applications, you can assume your application was unsuccessful.
• You should expect about 3 to 5 interviews with our technology team and senior management. Don’t stress out, it’s not as intense as it sounds, we’re a super cool team and tend to have quite relaxed interview sessions.
• You will be contacted either way about the outcome of your application within 3 weeks of your final interview.
