We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: DGM - GM - Finance Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job Description Hands on experience in Finance & Accounts, Commercial, Procurements, Audit, Statutory Compliances, Budgeting, variance analysis, profitability analysis and MIS, Govt Liasoning. Acts as a guardian of the segment Delegation of Authorities (DOA) and Right Clients Right Terms (RCRT), ensuring financial discipline in investment decisions: building business cases for OPEX and CAPEX commercial investments. overseeing the Government's investment program; assisting in developing the revenue framework for the Government through analysis of current and projected taxes and other revenue sources; administrating tax programs. Should be a subject matter expert regarding IFRS standards. Responsibilities

  • Ensure Timely closure of books of account as per the target set by the Corporate Office.
  • Ensure finalization of trial balance, stock, A/R, A/P. fixed assets and other modules in ERP and its reconciliation with the GL within the targeted date of book closure.
  • Management of the working capital allocated to the business unit including management of the payables and receivables.
  • Ensuring the compliance with the Federal and State tax laws Vat, respective country Law, Income Tax Law, Law and Excise Duty law on day to day basis.
  • Operation of bank accounts including ensuring the compliance with the and other regulations in respect of the export, imports and foreign remittances
  • Maintenance & Supervision of day to day financial entries.
  • Monthly scrutiny of GL, TB & timely closing of monthly books of accounts.
  • Customers & Vendors Reconciliation.
  • Bank Reconciliation & Inter-unit Reconciliation.
  • Cash Flow Statement
  • Stores and Inventory Movement Analysis
  • Costing, Budgeting & MIS
  • Responsible for complete treasury function
  • Relevant Laws of Land w.r.t finance and Secretarial works.
  • Responsible for complete IT department.
  • Import & Export and related activities.
  • Insurance
Educational Qualifications, Relevant Experience & Relevant Industry Experience
  • CA / CS,
  • 16 -20 yrs of experience of accounts function.
  • Should have worked on SAP/ Oracle.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing industry
  • IFRS standard
  • Understanding of the Local Market (respective geography) is preferable.
