Job Title: Contracts & Procurement Supervisor

Job Description
- Plan, organize, manage and execute procurement and contract activities from initial strategy development to award and follow up the post award contract management phases for all contracts in portfolio.
- Achieve established short and long term smooth running of the contracts, mitigate potential claims, and manage variations.
- Source adequate vendors for all procurement needs
- Document (ITTs/Awards /POs/Contracts etc.) preparation, processing approval and administering.
- Laisse with internal customers (User Department) to support commencement of drilling and support ongoing drilling operations.
- Liaise with vendors, client, and other stake holders.
- Support in obtaining timely approvals from Regulatory bodies (as applicable) of the C&P processes, tenders, awards.
- Monitor and follow up on deliverables from vendors and coordinate with vendors and logistic/User department for delivery of materials to intended place.
- Keep record of all awards released, variations issued and close out the contracts / awards at the end of campaign.
- Coordinate and support the finance department where necessary to address the contractual issues to enable timely payments.
- Review vendors invoices (if required) and obtain necessary approvals.
- Interfaces with the project team in order to plan and prioritize purchasing activities to support the business activities
- Act as the focal contact person for all supply chain & finance initiatives
- Ensure POs are created prior to commitment and good receipt is performed within 2 days of goods receipt or service delivery.
- Interface with the Accounts Payables personnel to ensure that the entire procurement to pay (P2P) process is implemented fully and seamlessly.
- Create requisitions and manages the approval process to PO generation and transmittal to vendors.
- Transmits and prioritizes approved purchase orders, with appropriate supporting documents, to Supplier and tracks acknowledgement of order by Supplier
- Prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility of other potential interruptions to internal customers
- Reviews, updates and maintains Open Purchase Orders until closed.
- Reports Supplier non-conformances and prepares return documentation to Supplier
- Leads finance and Logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies
- Identifies opportunities and implements actions to continually reduce wasted time, money and resources form assigned tasks.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 Years of Experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 3 years in contracts and/or procurement function with relevant experience.
- Experience with international oil companies will be added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in any of the following discipline: Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, Business Admin, Accounting, Supply Chain Management (contracts, procurement & logistics)

Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

- Perform engineering calculations and software simulation to include but not limited to casing design, hydraulics, BHA, cementing, torque and drag, well control, surge and swab, drilling string, bit selection and nozzle sizing, etc.
- Support operations management of exploratory, appraisal, development and workover wells in offshore environment.
- Support in preparation of detailed drilling and work-over program and procedures.
- Review of offset wells data, NPT analysis, bit records, end of well reports.
- Support in preparation of End of Well and Project reports,
- Quality check of Daily Drilling Report (DDR)
- Monitoring of operations performance and cost (plan versus actual) analyzing NPT (non-productive time), time-depth curve, project AFE variance analysis and KPIs.
- Follow up operations to ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of personnel, equipment and services to optimize cost.
- Coordinating with rig site team to ensure timely and adequacy of materials and equipment for operation.
- Work in the field as Well Site Drilling Engineer or Night Drilling Supervisor to support critical operations.
- Ensure that Company’s HSE policies are strictly adhered and followed.
- Carry out all duties outlined by superior in support of on-going operations
- Actively participate in the day to day operations to ensure that adequate support is rendered to the office-based, rig-based teams as well as the shore-based logistics team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 2 years as Drilling Engineer with relevant experience.
- Experience with Drilling and Workover rigs for all types of well construction activities
- Recent offshore experience (preferably Jack-Up and /or deep-water rig) is required.
- Experience with international oil companies will be added advantage.
- Experience using leading well engineering software is important.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum engineering (Other Engineering Disciplines may be considered e.g. Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)

- Champion for End of Well and Project reports,
- Real time monitoring and capture of learning curves for continuous improvement,
- Preparation of Budgets and AFEs
- Rig sizing and casing design optimization,
- Develop SORs for rig, tangibles and services and technical scope of work for tenders
- Develop Risk register with mitigation plans and contingency planning.
- Ensure that Company’s HSE policies are strictly adhered and followed.
- Extend training and technical support to direct reports
- Perform Contractors management, function including checking and approving of invoices (technically)
- Co-ordinate, review and quality check DDRs and DCEs (Cost),
- Maintain data base and actively participate on the day to day operations and ensure that operations are carried out on the rigs as per the program and as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering (Other Engineering Disciplines may be considered e.g. Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)
- Well control certification
- Offshore survival and HUET (BOSIET) certification.
Experience:
- Minimum of 18 years of Experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 5 years as Senior Drilling Engineer with relevant experience.

Job Title: Well Site Drilling Engineer

Job Description
- Perform engineering calculations and software simulation to include but not limited to hydraulics, BHA, cementing, torque and drag, daily pre-kick and well control sheet, surge and swab, LOT/FIT etc
- Assist the Drilling Supervisors (DSVs) to implement the approved drilling and completion programs on the rig.
- Manage all the contractors, including the rig, vessels, catering and all the services
- Support shore base logistics and vessel operations to timely load and offload required equipment and materials.
- Crew change management.
- Maintain list to track daily cost estimates, service company rental equipment and consumable
- Review service company field tickets and advise DSVs of any discrepancies.
- Preparation of daily drilling reports (DDR) and distribution after DSV’s review and approval.
- Follow up and quality check of service companies’ daily reports like mud logging, directional drilling, mud engineering etc.
- Assist DSVs to prepare, check and execute all critical operations like casing and completions running, cementing, etc.
- Support in preparation of End of Well and Project reports,

Job Title: Contracts & Procurement Manager

- Tender process management (for rig, drilling and completion tangibles, services, consumables etc.) involving pre-qualification, evaluation, negotiation and finalization of contracts.
- Prepare and issue contracts and procurement orders,
- Execute Contracts management to ensure smooth running of contracts and mitigate against potential claims. This shall include but not limited to mobilization and demobilization notices; termination, suspension and disputes management, certificates for commencement and termination dates, etc.
- Follow up on operational requirements and ensure contractual matters are resolved with minimum delays.
- Perform contracts close outs including inventory and consumables reconciliation.
- Implement KPIs for supply chain personnel (contracts, procurement and logistics) to ensure process efficiency; progressive improvements; monitoring and addressing of non-conformances.
- Training and development of direct reports.
- Implement generation of end of project reports, cost variance analysis, shortage and backlog reports and other required management reports etc.
- Ensure good coordination with finance such that the entire procurement to pay (P2P) process is fully and seamlessly implemented
Requirements

- Must have worked in an Operator’s (oil company’s) environment. Experience with international oil companies will be added advantage.
