Bedmate Showroomsdisplay Furniture ranging from Home furniture, dining set, office furniture, etc. We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Clearing Agent Location: Lagos Job Description

  • Ensure proper handling of all custom clearance activities
  • Adopt a timely and cost effective method of clearing all consignments
  • Manage relationship with government agencies to ensure timely clearance of consignment
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Negotiate and quote competitive rates promptly for freight and customs clearance jobs for Vehicles, Bulk cargos or containers, imports and exports.
  • Facilitate the processing/application of form-M
  • Prepare daily report and updates on consignments
  • Oversee the safe and efficient receipt of cargos including proper identification and documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of SSCE/OND is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years cognate experience in Freight Forwarding/Clearing roles.
