GOS Projects Limited - Our client, a Microfinance Bank based in Lekki, Lagos State is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:     Job Title: Chief Operating Officer Location: Lekki, Lagos Job Description

• You will be responsible for strategy formulation, financial planning, Implementation of bank's short, medium and long-term goals and objectives, approval of credit files and other asset creation of the bank and effective communication of board policies.
• The postholders role will be to coordinate all business development activities, deposit mobilization, growth of quality risk assets, income generation as well as setting goals and development of appropriate performance benchmarks/appraisals for all categories of employees.

• BSc/HND in any Social Sciences, minimum of 7 years cognate banking experience with at least 5 years at senior management level.
• Demonstrable success in a similar role, good knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian Financial Services Industry is desirable.
• The ideal candidate will also be highly motivated with a strong commitment to working with customers at the bottom of the pyramid and good understanding of key risks affecting banking business, budgeting and resource allocation skill, and prior board-level experience or experience reporting to board committee. Further, a professional qualifications such as ICAN, CIBN, CIS, would be a plus.
