Job for an Agricultural Graduate in an Agricultural Company

Bradfield Consulting Limited - Our client in the Agricultural Industry is currently recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Farm Hand Location: Lagos Duties

  • Manages day-to-day operations and maintains the conditions on the farms
  • General business administration of the farms
  • Observe cattle for signs of illnesses and report any observations immediately.
  • Clear away animal waste and clean and sterilize farm equipment.
  • Cleaning and maintaining of farm facilities
  • Irrigate soil to ensure the quality of crop and pick crops for selling.
  • Tend to farm animals and livestock in a bid to keep them fed and healthy.
  • Cultivate soil and sow crops on a designated piece of land.
  • Perform slashing and chemical spraying activities to ensure weed control.
  • Perform harvesting activities by using equipment such as harvesters and tractors.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc. in Agriculture from a reputable institution.
  • Self-Starter
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Decisive.
  • The candidate should possess real passion for farming.
  • Candidate must possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience in farming activities.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to adapt.
