Seedvest Limited is a Nigerian Financial Institution with interests in Microfinance and small business financing. The company’s main operation run out of Lagos and has a Microfinance subsidiary, Seedvest MFB, in Ibadan, Oyo State. The company has a strong bias for supporting entrepreneurial and consumption activities and is positioning its operations to serve these activities. We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Credit Officer/Marketer Location: Lagos Job Summary

  • The Credit Officer shall be responsible for sourcing prospective clients, disburse loans according to the company’s credit policies and procedures, and to ensure prompt repayment of the loans in compliance with the loan repayment agreement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure repayment of loans in accordance to the loan agreement.
  • Maintain other assigned portfolios and follow up on loan defaulters.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Source for prospective clients for the company.
  • Maintain client relations, and help to achieve company production goals.
  • Process loan applications from prospective clients according to the company credit policy.
  • Carry out detailed appraisal of loan applications.
  • Prepare credit appraisal reports for consideration by the Credit Committee.
  • Meeting monthly disbursement and client recruitment targets.
  • Oversee the disbursement of approved loans.
  • Regular follow up on disbursed loans.
Qualification/Experience
  • Minimum of HND or Bachelor's Degree is any field.
  • Previous work experience as sales person or marketer is an added advantage.
Required skills:
  • Understanding of customer segmentation, market dynamics and requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure and produce results
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
