Ebele Luxe is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below: Job Title: Fashion Designer/Tailor Location: Lagos Job Description Your day-to-day tasks may include:

Fitting the mock-up to the customer and making alterations
Cutting out fabric pieces to make the garment
Fitting the garment to the customer and marking final adjustments
Stitching clothes by hand or machine
Carry out repairs and alterations to clothing
Taking customers' measurements
Discussing styles and fabric
Working out how much the clothing will cost and how long it will take to make
Creating a design by hand or using computer software
Creating a new pattern or adapting an existing one
Making a mock-up garment using cheaper fabrics

Requirements

Accurate and precise attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Self-motivated and self-directed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must live within Lagos Island.
OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
Body of previous work in portfolio
In-depth understanding of design principles, fashion, and the fashion industry

Experience:

At least 2 years working in a fashion house. References will be required.
