We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Technical Support Engineer (Production) Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Rotation Main Function

  • Perform engineering calculations and software simulation to include but not limited to choke sizing, sand control, artificial lift design, production system capacity, production drawdown, etc.
  • Support operations management of well optimization, enhancement and servicing in offshore environment.
  • Support in preparation of detailed drilling and work-over program and procedures
  • Review and interpretation of production data to provide recommendations for improvement
  • Preparation of monthly production report including NPT and KPI analyses
  • Production management techniques including real time optimization, gas lift, gas allocation, draw down models and optimal choke size management, sand control and monitoring.
  • Quality check of daily production data
  • Monitoring of production operations performance and cost (plan versus actual), analyzing NPT (non-productive time), cost/budget variance analysis and KPIs.
  • Follow up operations to ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of personnel, equipment and services to reduce cost
  • Coordinating with production facility team to ensure timely and adequacy of materials and equipment for operations
  • Assist in work over planning, design, support and performance reporting including cost estimating and budgeting and go/no-go/abandonment decisions
  • Assist in performing testing (production and injection) design and interpretation
  • Assist in providing input for developing yearly production, OPEX and CAPEX budget
  • Ensure that Company’s HSE policies are strictly adhered and followed.
  • Carry out all duties outlined by superior in support of on-going operations
  • Actively participate in the day to day operations to ensure that adequate support is rendered to the office-based and field-based teams
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 2 years as Production Engineer with relevant experience.
  • Experience with well and reservoir management
  • Exposure to field and facility rejuvenation programs required
  • Exposure to drilling and completion activities required
  • Experience with artificial lift designs for deviated design desired
  • Degree in relevant Engineering or Science discipline
  • Well control certification
  • Offshore survival and HUET (BOSIET) certification
    Job Title: Production Supervisor Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Rotation Job Description
  • Directing and coordinating the daily activities of the production team at well head, production facility and related marine equipment.
  • Ensuring that all staff including contractors, have adequate information to carry out tasks safely and efficiently, in compliance with control measures and site safety precautions.
  • Daily production activities reporting, production data gathering and recording including gas volume calculation from gas charts
  • Laboratory Analysis of crude oil, produced water and gas etc.
  • Ensuring that all administrative duties and reporting are done in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Coaching, mentoring and training subordinates including ensuring training requirements compliance
  • Ensuring that all operations are carried out in compliance to the QHSE system & policies.
  • Control well production operations to produce crude oil and gas at required levels to meet the company’s production targets
  • Timely reporting incidents, abnormalities and non-conformities as captured on Daily and Weekly Operations checklist
  • Management of Permit-to-work systems (PTW) including controlling isolation/de-isolation certificates and complying with company isolation policy.
  • Liaising with onshore/office support teams and other departments, keeping them informed of activities that may affect them.
  • Maintaining adequate spares and tools for timely maintenance of the production facility equipment.
  • Coordinates the regular maintenance and repair of facility’s equipment
  • Ensuring adequate support is rendered to all team working at the facility to optimize production uptime and levels.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of oilfield production/ processing operations experience, 3 years of which must be in supervisory role
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and controls will be added advantage
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Management System for Production / Flow Station facility equipment is required.

    Job Title: Senior Production Supervisor Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Rotation Description

    Job Title: SSHE Manager III Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Rotation (4 weeks on/4 weeks off) Main Functions
  • The Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) Manager provides SSHE leadership for the applicable function/unit/project, and ensures that his/her customers have the technical and leadership services, support, and awareness needed to achieve SSHE visions and goals.
  • This job role ensures that the tools, resources, and support are fit for purpose, providing stewardship, analysis, direction and management team support to drive the organization to achieve SSHE objectives and priorities.
  • The Safety/Risk/OIMS/EPR Manager is responsible for managing reporting personnel to optimize performance and for their stewardship and career development.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Sets safety culture and oversees the safety of all direct reports
  • Provides leadership for personnel and process safety, risk, Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS), security, health, environmental, regulatory, and emergency response/preparedness programs and overall awareness within applicable site/unit/project
  • Ensures that the SSHE group is adequately staffed with appropriate skill sets to provide quality SSHE resources and services to site/unit/project
  • Manages OIMS implementation and execution such that unit/project meets or exceeds the Corporate OIMS expectations
  • Develops and stewards implementation of safety management systems and processes, safety reporting, and incident investigation based on global standards and practices
  • Liaises with other units/projects on SSHE issues to ensure that best practices utilization and continuous improvement processes are in place and effectively applied, as well as identifies synergies/common processes, where appropriate
  • Communicates with and advises as necessary Senior Management on site/unit/project specific SSHE issues
  • Facilitates implementation of risk assessment and management program elements and stewards results for learnings and gap closures
  • Stewards regulatory compliance assessments, OIMS assessments, and external stakeholder assessments for best practices and lessons learned

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required

  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, as required to function effectively within a project team
  • Minimum 15 years’ prior experience working in a multicultural / multilingual, emerging nation, environment

Application Deadline 5th February, 2019.     Job Title: Senior Crane and Marine Equipment Engineer Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Resident Description
  • To prepare all methods support and implementation of practice documents regarding preventive maintenance, inspections and testing to be performed on fleet cranes based on recognized best practice and applicable regulations.
  • To prepare and develop specifications for new cranes and lifting equipment based on recognized international standards.
  • Co-ordinate planned crane maintenance activities fleet-wide.
  • Manage specialized crane maintenance vendors interventions and contracts (BLM, Hydralift, Aero, Sparrow, Mape) within SMC frame agreements (including technical scope of work) where applicable.
  • Ensure the implementation and assurance of Company integrity management system compliance.
  • Liaise with classification societies/third party design offices where applicable.
  • Support JV asset installations for all related crane issues (specifically for new cranes, specification for upgrades and heavy lift works on cranes).
  • Liaise with crane manufacturers when required.
  • Participate in and/or lead investigations for all crane related incidents across the fleet.
  • Interface with JV asset HSEQ Department for all crane related issues.
  • Liaise with JV asset staffing regarding all related training issues and certification for crane operators.
  • Supervision, until completion, of 5-years major overhauls in all JV asset installations cranes.
  • Follow spare parts stocks with Warehouse and Procurement.
  • For all cranes, Winches (Food, Turbines, boat, etc.) & Work boat, Survival Craft, Lifeboat, life rafts, davits:
  • Review/Produce Maintenance Plan as per Vendor recommendations.
  • Review/Correct/Create corrected BOMs in SAP, establish MRP parameters.
  • Ensure equipment are certified by third parties.
  • To assist sites with routine troubleshooting, local emergency procurements.
  • To assist Procurement Department with clarifications.
  • To coach and train junior engineers in all aspect related to the maintenance of lifting and marine equipment.
Job Requirements
  • Formal education: B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering (2.1).
  • Professional experience (number of years): 15 years experience with:
    • Technical knowledge and experience in hydraulic power transmission and control systems.
    • Proven experience working with heavy machinery/equipment.
    • Extensive experience within maintenance, fault finding, build and procurement of equipment projects.
  • Team management skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Proficiency in English language.
