A reputable Radio Station with Head office in Lagos has newly opened stations in Lagos whose major focus is in Pidgin and Yoruba Language. They require seasoned professionals to fill the position below:     Job Title: Marketing Executive Location: Lagos Job Description

• Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders including customers, advertising agencies.
• Manage customer relationships.
• Source advertising opportunities and secure sponsorship.
• Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers etc.
• Maintain and update customer databases. Evaluate marketing campaigns.

• A first degree in Marketing, Applied or Social Sciences or related discipline from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 7 years post graduation experience of which must be in a media industry preferably a radio or television station.
• Must be a registered member of APCON and NIM.
• Must be 38 years and above.

• Research features that will come up during the radio show
• Plan the general direction of the show. This may include writing and scripting in preparation and rehearsing
• Meet guests for the radio programme beforehand and discuss the outline of interviews
• Introduce music, guests and other features throughout the show Conduct interviews with guests in person (either live or recorded) or on the telephone.
• Select a playlist suitable for the audience and time of the day.

• Must possess excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
• B.Sc in Mass Communication would be an added advantage.
• Must have hands-on experience as an excellent Pidgin or Yoruba Presenter who is also a production person.
• Must have the capacity to work to a rigid schedule and manage their time effectively.
• Must be articulate and have the ability to create dynamic and original shows consistently with a sense of humour which appeals to the masses
• Must be conversant with NBC rules and regulations.

• Generate original ideas and think creatively about how to communicate them
• Develop, implement and manage the overall marketing strategies to continuously increase the company’s market share and profitability.
• Establish contacts with senior level decision makers in targeted organizations and individuals to attract patronage.
• Take a lead role in building and maintaining customer’s relationship.
• Develop a working process for the marketing department, monitor performance of marketing executives and dose business opportunities.

• A first degree in Marketing, applied/Social Sciences or related discipline from reputable Institution.
• Minimum of 10 years post graduation experience, of which must be in a media industry preferably a radio or television station.
• Must be a registered member of APCON and NIM
• MBA would bean added advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Must have a hands-on experience in event management.
• Must not be less than 38 years old.

• Direct as well as coordinate operation plus maintenance activities of radio broadcasting transmitter in accordance with rules and regulation of NBC
• Establish procedures plus standards for operation maintenance of transmitter equipment.
• Establish procedures for testing of transmitter equipment and performance of preventive maintenance activities.

• A first degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 7 years hands-on experience in a radio or television broadcasting station.
• Must have handled or worked on transmitter for a minimum of 5 years preferably in radio broadcasting station.

• Ensuring proper and careful usage of broadcast equipment and studio facilities with scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure that all programmes are vetted to comply with NBC rules and regulations to achieve zero infraction/penalty.
• Lead a team of high-flying Radio People to achieve top-level ratings In the radio market.
• Responsible for the overall station programming & production.
• Responsible for generating original ideas, and to think creatively about how to communicate them.
• Knowledge of the industry market, different radio stations and programme styles and audience demographics.
• Responsible for creating good programme contents for the station for revenue generation.
• Must takes lead role in sourcing lucrative sponsorship deals for station programmes and maintaining such sponsorship.

• Must be a very good administrator, who has finesse for marketing of the station.
• Must have hands-on experience in the same position
• Must be able to set appropriate expectations and exceed them.
• Must be a radio content developer who is also a fine radio presenter.
• Must be 40 years old and above.
• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication or any Social Sciences from a reputable institution
• MBA would be an added advantage.
• A veteran Broadcaster with a minimum of 15 years post. graduation consolidated experience in a well established radio/television broadcasting station
