Project REVAMP Africa is a non-profit organisation. Our Educational, Enterprise and Leadership Development initiative is designed to impact children in public secondary schools. We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:   Job Title: Fundraising Officer Ref No: 1700003PR Location: Lagos Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish fundraising and development goals, identify potential donors or sources of funding, and plans outreach strategies.
  • Develop relationship with new clients for fundraising and sponsorship of our programs/events. Facilitate, with assistance from the Executive Director, development and implementation of an annual development strategy to achieve associated financial goals for the following priorities; special events, individual donation (supporter or partnership programs), corporate funding, etc.
  • Develop effective strategies for maximising donations.
  • Develop alliances with other organisations and work collaboratively to enhance fundraising efforts.
  • Maintaining quality relationships with existing donors and stakeholders.
Education Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies
  • First Degree in relevant discipline combined with substantive work will be considered
  • Similar job role will be an added advantage
  • Strong Communication and Presentation skills
  • Experience and track record for successful fundraising is required
  • Proposal Writing skills
  • Fundraising skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Research Skills
  • Social Media Engagement Proficiency
  • Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting

  • Planning and coordination of programs and its activities.
  • Ensure that all activities and programs align with the goals and mission of the organisation.
  • Design and develop training programs to drive and improve volunteering and the welfare of our volunteers.
  • Create appropriate support, training for volunteer growth opportunities and activities.
  • Help build positive relations within the team and external parties.
  • Develop relationship with new clients for fundraising and sponsorship of our programs/events.
  • Responsible for increasing awareness of our initiatives and all of our activities through effective, creative, and professional marketing and public relations.
