  • The Shift Team Lead will report 15mins before start of shift to acquaint self with production/engineering activities.
  • To liaise with the section managers at resumption and closing to update & be updated on sectional engineering happenings.
  • Update all relevant records/reports/job cards/history cards during shift in line with SOP and WI
  • Responsible for effective and efficient Operations, MHEQ, Utilities, SME, Gas plant, ETP during shift operations
  • Assist the unit/sectional managers in the operation & maintenance of the engineering equipment.
  • Manage self and shift team to achieve efficient plant availability through equipment checking, inspection, maintenance, and routine adherence
  • Responsible for equipment start up and shutdown during the shift with the shift operators & shift technician
  • Partake and lead shift sectional engineering maintenance for smooth engineering operations - shutdown, planned maintenance, overhauling, preventive & breakdown maintenance.
  • Responsible for all the safety and environment regulation during shift and for team.
  • Ensure shift team members hand over to their relievers before closing otherwise delegate operative to wait should the reliever is unable to come Liaise with stores shift in charge to arrange necessary spares for maintenance
  • Ensure shift operators & technicians wait to see reliever before closing
  • Ensure operatives are available on duty to work and arrange for substitute in place of absence
  • Responsible for shift roaster drafting, mapping & collation to achieve smooth shift operation across engineering
Qualification
  • A minimum of B.Sc /HND in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering

  • Plan organizes and leads the factory team to achieve agreed objectives (safety, environmental, quality, cost and service)
  • Create skill grid matrix across roles (operator to manager) primarily in production, engineering, quality & logistics & warehousing.
  • Assesses Skill gap for every Fixed term employee in operations and creates a plan (Training calendar) in conjunction with the function to bridge the gap.
  • Measures & drives Lead indicator in every function and thereby culture building through CI projects. Kaizens, EEC, TPM, SS

  • Demonstrates visible leadership and role modeling in Company's Legal Affairs, Diversity & Inclusion (D&I).
  • Responsible for the affairs of the Company Secretariat, including Statutory meetings.

  • The person will report to the Head of Warehousing & Logistics and will among other responsibilities carry out the Following:
  • Benchmark the current distribution model being adopted by other Fast Moving Consumer Goods and Beverages company
  • Reassess the current model and re-evaluate requirement in terms of:
    • No. of warehouse locations
    • Place of establishment
    • Size of ware house locations

  • Ensure warehouse management of each of the regional warehouses Inline with the SOP.

  • Setup reorder levels for each of the sku and ensure timely replenishment for ensuring high stock availability across the range.
  • Ensure high inventory accuracy, compliance to FIFO and effective monitoring and timely escalation to avoid stock-out or aging of stock
  • Effective coordination with FG warehouse and transporters to ensure timely and accurate dispatch in line with SLAs and KPIs
  • Ensure good relationship with transporters and representatives to ensure optimal vehicle deployment
  • To effectively coordinate for deployment of internal resources - manpower, forklift, trailers to ensure seamless inbound and outbound operation

  • Work Experience of min 10yrs in:
    • Transportation for Secondary (Distributor/Customer) servicing is mandatory

  • Responsible for compliance to local regulatory requirements related to product registration / certification.
  • Submit periodical reports to management showing the status of Quality progress.
  • Oversee all activities of laboratory testing, maintaining proper link and coordination between R&D. product design, testing activities.
  • Align with NPD for design review, verification and validation for the new products, to ensure conformity to specifications and fitness for use.

  • Responsible for the R&D functional deliveries starting from product concept development & proposal, preparing prototype sample, laboratory testing, and final approval to invest in the developed product,
  • Assess the requirements for new products based on the market needs in cooperation with Sales & Marketing department & MD
  • Lead NPI Process to improve on product range and keeping the product range up to date with the new trends market and phase out obsolete products.
