  • The Technology Internship is for minimum of six months to one year with the possibility of confirmation as entry-level full staff based on candidate’s performance.
  • Preferably a fresh graduate or Corp Member with basic knowledge and experience in Websites Maintenance, Server Administration, networking LAN/WLAN management and troubleshooting, Content Layout Management, Vendor Management in the Online Market Domain.
Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of websites.
  • Ensure the web servers, local server, hardware and software are operating accurately.
  • Generate and revise web pages.
  • Study and analyse site traffic.
  • Configure web servers such as Apache.
  • Regulate and manage access rights of different users on website and local server.
  • Create and modify appearance and setting of site.
  • Run the site to see if there are any parts that are challenging to use.
  • Resolve links that don’t work and pictures that aren’t appearing properly.
  • Modify files to small sizes so sites load faster.
Requirements/Competencies
  • Databases: MySQL, MS SQL Server, MS Access
  • Networking: LAN/WLAN
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of any of following Software: Adobe Premiere Pro cc, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Audition, After Effects, Media Encoder, Bridge, Final Cut Pro cc (Level 1 User Certified), Compressor, Avid Interplay (ipMAM), MediaGrid, Soundtrack Pro, Avid Media Composer
  • Languages: ColdFusion, SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript.
  • Experience: 0 - 2 years
  • Qualification: BA/BSc/HND

  • Candidate will work in our Apapa office and must possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including various social media sites.
  • The candidate will be responsible for contributing to our website redesign projects, monitoring and posting on blogs and social networks, engaging in online forums, participating in online outreach and promotion, optimizing our website and conducting keyword analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in implementing overall communications and marketing plan - focusing specifically on digital communications - to build awareness within the community, increase engagement, adoption and products sales.
  • Work with Digital Marketing Manager to refine social media strategy and best practices
  • Assist in managing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and editorial calendar to ensure content is timely, relevant, and engaging
  • Draft weekly e-newsletters to subscribers
  • Prepare weekly updates and reports to track growth and success rates of campaigns
  • Keep up to date and informed on new social media trends and adapt accordingly
  • Ensure proper messaging is being executed online
  • Identify leaders and influencers (internal/external) and engage them in brand activities
  • Assist with website copywriting, proofing, and updating as needed
Qualifications
  • Ability to take initiative, employ good judgment, and manage projects from beginning to end
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Exceptional ability to manage details

  • Be available for at least 30 hours a week
  • A bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled student) in the liberal arts or equivalent work experience
  • Understands and can utilize emerging platforms, digital media, and web/social media management and measurement tools (e.g. HootSuite, Google Analytics and Facebook Insights)
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience (e.g. Photoshop) a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of email marketing applications (e.g. Constant Contact)

Requirements

  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • B.Sc, BA or HND in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing
