Job Vacancy in a Fast Moving ICT Company for a Flex Cube Tester
Hamilton Lloyd and Associates - Our client is a dynamic and fast moving ICT Company. Due to internal expansion, they are looking to fill in the role of:
Job Title: Flex Cube Tester
Location: Lagos
Main Responsibilities
- Experience on functional, regression, Integration, back end testing, automation testing execution on banking products
- Should be able to perform Test Analysis, Test case preparation and reviews and Test execution
- Running of basic recons to verify data integrity.
- Appropriate and timeous escalation of issues.
- Taking ownership of problems until resolution.
- Documentation and reporting of all issues experienced.
- Communication with 3rd parties (both internal and external/ other stakeholders regarding issues experienced).
- Creation of processing status reports and dashboards as and when required.
- Should be aware of Testing process, SDLC software development lifecycle
- Ability to quickly ramp up on new projects and be able to multi task between different projects as needed
- Coordinate with teams to write test cases, mentor testers, prepare test environment and test data, execute testing, log and test defects from open to close
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (in Science, Computers, Information Technology or Engineering).
- 3 + years of experience in Oracle Flex cube operational and testing environment.
- 2+ years’ experience with relational databases (Oracle and MSSQL).
- Experience with QA/Test with International Banking domain experience in Core Banking products (Flex cube, Finacle, Loan IQ or MIDAS)
- Candidate should have testing experience to play out different scenarios
Key Competencies:
- 5 + years' experience in QA/Test with International Banking domain experience in Core Banking products (Flex cube, Finacle, Loan IQ or MIDAS)
- A strong hands-on ability to conduct end to end testing process throughout the entire SDLC from test planning, test design, test execution, and test reporting.
- Experience on functional, regression, Integration, back end testing, automation testing execution on banking products
- Should primarily have good experience in SWIFT Payments and international Accounting exposure.
- Should be able to perform Test Analysis, Test case preparation and reviews and Test execution.
- Should be aware of Testing process, SDLC software development lifecycle
Person Specification:
- Ability to quickly ramp up on new projects and be able to multi task between different projects as needed
- Coordinate with teams to write test cases, mentor testers, prepare test environment and test data, execute testing, log and test defects from open to close.
- Possess strong communication skills.
Remuneration
- 250,000-400,000 per month.
- This is a 3 month’s fixed contract with the option to renew.
