Project Controls/Contracts Coordinator recruitment in a Leading EPC Company


Michael Stevens Consulting - Out client, a leading EPC Company requires suitably qualified candidates for immediate employment in the position below:     Job Title: Project Controls/Contracts Coordinator Location: Rivers Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for project planning and scheduling, cost estimating and monitoring, and quality review.
  • Provides guidance and consultation for project managers.
  • Acts as an interface between the project team and clients in managing and reporting daily project activities and schedules.
  • Financial monitoring, reporting, control and compliance of contracts in line with Company commercial policies and procedures
  • Liaise with discipline lead to prepare Cost Time Resource (CTR) based on schedule of rates for engineering activities submitted to client
  • Manages and oversees project controls for engineering and construction projects.
  • Analyse potential risks involved with specific call-off terms
  • Work with the PM to establish operating policies to mitigate risk.
  • Liaise with Contracts department to prepare and agree contract terms and conditions of each Call-off work with client
  • Stay updated with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed
  • Ensure project/call-off schedules, conditions and invoicing plan are met.
Qualifications
  • Possess minimum of a University Degree (B. Eng., B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent plus any other relevant professional qualifications or certifications
  • MS Project, Primavera Planning (minimum - skilled level)
  • PC Literate in MS Windows, Excel, MS Office
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (essential)
  • Preferably NSE/ COREN Registered plus membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) UK or Nigeria, or Institute of Supply Management (ISM) US or similar qualification at a diploma or certified level would be preferable
Experience:
  • Candidates should have minimum of 10 years post-graduation working experience out of which minimum of 3 years must have been spent as project controls lead and 5 years as senior contracting management lead for capital projects and EPC Contracts in a reputable organization in the Oil and Gas industry.
