  • A Floor Supervisor will oversee entire sales staff.
  • Stationed on the sales floor, and sometimes interact with customers.
  • The interaction that a floor supervisor has with both the sales staff and the customers gives him the unique ability to monitor the buying patterns of the customers, qualifying him to make recommendations for fast moving merchandise.
  • Before, during and after a shift, a floor supervisor assists the sales staff in the restocking of merchandise so that inventory is available for customers to purchase. All the items are priced according to the system. Floor supervisor must be in full control of expiration of products and notify Management on time to take appropriate action.
  • Beyond ensuring that employees are doing their jobs, supervisor is required to train employees to achieve 100% discipline on the floor.
  • Supervisors' presence on the floor must be strongly felt in terms of neatness and cleanliness of the shelves/floor.
Requirements
  • B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance or any other related field.
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years' cognate experience.
  • Must have basic Computer skills.
  • High moral character and Integrity.
  • Must have experience in stock rotation procedures for Retail marketing.
  • Must also have experience with merchandising sales and maximizing of floor space.
      Job Title: Treasury Officer Location: Abuja Job Purpose
  • Monitors cash flow on a daily basis and making periodic analysis;
Key Responsibilities
  • Review the financial position on a daily basis. Compile and review daily cash status report. Provide relevant periodic management reports and as requested by the Manager/Financial controller.
  • Control banking and operation systems and manage money transmission systems.
  • Manages the company’s bank account efficiently.
  • Ensure all funds are appropriately banked and coordinate with CIT operators.
  • Process disbursement as requested.
  • Check and verify cash transactions; investigate and propose possible resolution for any discrepancy.
  • Undertake all treasury operations and responsibilities under the supervision of the Manager/ Financial controller.
  • Review bills on a constant basis.
  • Day to day control over treasury transactions including reconciliation of cash collections and remittances by cashier.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all payment vouchers and accounts payable documents to ensure completeness and security.
  • Assess various payment activities and methods.
  • Minimize bank transactions fee.
Requirements
  • B.Sc./HND in Accounting or Finance
  • ICAN certification or in progress is desirable
  • Relevant treasury management training

  • A Cashier has the primary responsibility of handling customer purchasing and payments while facilitating a good interaction/relationship with the customer.
  • A Cashier is entrusted with the key responsibilities of complementing the customer shopping experience by evaluating the customer’s purchases, handling the customers’ payments for goods and services-while making the process as enjoyable and least stressful as possible.
  • Assist to achieve branch budgeted sales and profit target.
  • Daily cleaning and maintenance of the checkout stations and other front end equipment to ensure that they are kept in full working order at all times and all faults (if discovered) are to be reported immediately to superiors.
  • Ensure checkout equipment are kept neat and tidy at all times and spillages are cleaned up immediately.
  • Ensure that all checkout stations ancillary devices-such as POS; Scanner and price display attachments etc. are in good/working condition:
  • Maintain the stock and availability of checkout station's consumables such as shopping bags; thermal roll; printer roll; availability of small denominations for use as change.
  • Ensure products presented by customers are properly handled to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Crosschecking items presented for purchase by customer to see that they are in good condition.
  • Scanning all the items presented for purchase by the customer.
  • Ensure each customer’s trolley/basket is emptied before communicating the total amount to the customer.
  • Communicate the amount to the customer.
  • Processing various forms of tender e.g. cash, cheques, debit card, gift vouchers presented by the customer as means of payment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure during high volume trade periods.
Requirements
  • At least National Diploma in any relevant field.
  • 2-4 years cognate experience.
