  • We are in search of a smart, young lawyer to join our organization Legal Department as a Legal Assistant.
  • The successful candidate must be a Young Lawyer (Associate Cadre) Interested in Corporate & Commercial Law practice.
Responsibilities The successful candidate will be charged with the following responsibilities:
  • Review of company legal work, particularly Contracts and Agreements.
  • Research, write and edit related commercial/transactional documents.
  • This will entail identifying and examining applicable local, national and international regulations/Laws and advising the organization.
  • Collaborate with outsourced lawyers and government agencies to complete legal documentation required to complete transactions.
  • Provide legal advice towards ensuring that peace, safety and security of persons and property are protected in the project communities.
  • To mediate among the stakeholders and ensure cordial relationships with the purpose of retaining current business and attracting future investment.
Requirements
  • To be considered for this position, the applicant must be 3-5 years at the Bar and be familiar with CAC and export regulating/facilitating Agencies.
  • S/he must be hard working and have a strong penchant for details.
  • High competency in verbal and written communication is essential.
  • Experience with working with State or Federal MDAs, project negotiation and dispute resolution as well as an understanding of the Public Private Partnership environment will be an advantage.

    Job Title: Junior Accountant Location: Lagos Responsibilities The successful candidate will handle the following responsibilities:
  • Maintain accounting records
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Maintain accounting records by entering data into the accounting database; processing backups.
  • Maintain the company's Imprest system.
  • Handle banking transactions.
  • Process and prepare payment of approved vouchers.
  • Protect organizations value on confidentiality.
  • Accomplish accounting and organization's mission.
Requirements
  • The applicant must have a minimum of National Diploma (ND) or it's equivalent, in Accounting, Business or Financial Studies.
  • The candidate must have 3 years experience in basic book keeping and accounting and must show evidence of being enrolled in the ICAN chartered accountancy programme.
  • Enrollment and progressive completion of some stages of the ICAN professional examinations will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), reporting skills, attention to details, proficiency in excel and MS Word will be an added advantage.
    Job Title: Head, Business Development Location: Lagos Job Description An experienced and qualified person to manage our Business Development Unit. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver on the following Assignments:
  • Consolidate on the efforts and achievements of the Stakeholder Management effort to retain and expand existing relationships
  • Build an investor focused marketing department that will attract new, value adding investors to the project
  • Segment the projects offerings and match opportunities with the available pool of investors.
  • Develop proactive plans and project proposals that are geared towards closing the “needs” gaps of investors and project offerings Increase the organizations productivity by aggressively implementing business strategies focused on growth Invigorate the business brand and create positive images of the project to existing and potential investors

    Job Title: Head, Stakeholder Management Location: Lagos Job Description
  • A competent person to head our Stake holder Management Department .
  • The successful hire will be responsible for relationship management with and among the various stakeholder groups identified for the development of a special economic zone.
  • This person will evolve a stakeholder management plan to guide the management of the affairs and relationships with a very diverse set of corporate, government and community stakeholders.
  • There is a significant content of data collection for developing local community needs through research.
  • This individual will be responsible for the deployment of effective and robust stakeholder engagement strategies that are driven by diverse stakeholder group priorities.
  • S/he will be engaged to:
    • Measure and manage the different interests of the stakeholder groups.
    • Act as the primary liaison between our organization and the stakeholders of the project in order to ensure a productive and cordial environment for project development.
    • Ensure that peace, safety and security of persons and property are prioritized in the project communities.
    • Liaise between the different stakeholder groups and seek to attract more investments.
    • Expand the population of value adding investors through targeted liaisons with the organizations marketing activities that will be driven by market intelligence.
Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for and maintain a robust relationship with host communities.
  • Build and manage healthy relationship with Government MDAs and security Agencies to ensure a healthy, safe and secure business environment.
  • Regular, proactive engagement with stakeholder groups to foster opportunities for positive collaboration.
  • Maintain a purposeful Investors Forum forthe effective development and delivery of Community Social Responsibility projects.
  • Strongly liaise with investors’ project development and marketing groups and build appropriate strategies for effective collaboration with our organisations marketing group.
  • Establish and Manage statistical data for the project and its environs (records and statistics on investors/investments, project activities, CSR projects and impacts on communities, community segments etc.)
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and management of the organisation.
  • Undertake any other reasonable management assignment and duties towards the smooth running and efficiency of the department / organisation.
  • Anchor project community security, safety and shared infrastructure management initiatives.
