  • Drive growth, lead the commercial activities, generate demand and manage the indirect teams of distributors for the Life Sciences - Pharmaceutical Diagnostics product portfolio. Supervise channel partners in the assigned territory, in accordance with company’s policies and business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Supervise dealers in accordance with company’s policies and objectives
  • Schedule and conduct regular meetings with dealer and support functions
  • Coordination of marketing activities in the country run through the GE Healthcare processes and in agreement with Emerging Markets and Global Marketing
  • Develop close relationships with KOL customers
  • Ensure productivity and quality goals are met
  • Ensure full adherence of the dealer/distributor to GE Healthcare compliance rules and local regulations
  • Propose actions and budget to ensure overall success
  • Take the lead in the tender coordination process where GE participates directly, with the support functions
  • Highlight market opportunities in the expansion markets
  • Ensure coordination with stakeholders toward the achievement of proper product deliveries, proof of deliveries and cash collection.
  • Deliver on operational plan and other pertinent commercial and financial objectives
  • Analyze and document business processes and identified market problems
  • Devise solutions for close gaps for identified problems and customer queries
  • Obtain and document business intelligence reports
  • Develop processes to improve operational quality and efficiency
  • Ensure coordination for sales target to be achieved
  • Propose pricing to meet revenue and profitability targets
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Computer literate with expertise in MS Office
  • Ability to influence indirect and cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel and to work a flexible schedule
  • A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria.
  • 5 - 7 years’ experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry with strong sales acumen
  • Qualifications in Pharmacy, Medicine or BioSciences (is desirable)
  • Business Management qualifications (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English preferred)
Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience in managing sales channels of multiple products in Healthcare
  • Direct and/ or indirect leadership experience
  • Exposure to business coaching within SME environment
  • Ability to analyze business models.
  • Matter of expertise in Pharmaceutical Business Management or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Matter of expertise in local Healthcare Legislation and regulations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset in seeking business opportunities and closing gaps for optimum business success
  • Integrity in conducting business in a highly regulated business environment
