We are recruiting to fill the vacant positions below:     Job Title: Metering Support Engineer Location: Lagos Job Type: Contract Job Descriptions

  • Assist Lead instrumentation engineer and Head of section (Head of Instrumentation, Metering & Systems Support) for the updating of the Maintenance Plans including dedicated procedures, spare parts coverage, tools selection and other technical aspects, in accordance with the Maintenance Policy.
  • Is together with Lead Metering Engineer focal point for Clientconcerning technical and commercial (fiscal) metering systems.
  • Manage the maintenance and reliability of all metering systems and guarantee the integrity of theirmeasurements.
  • Follow-up within all matters concerning metering related contracts (sales, transportation, and/or other agreements)
In connection with Client concerned entities he shall:
  • Prepare and manage maintenance plan, spare inventory and all other related administrative tools in UNISUP as regards Instrumentation, control systems and metering maintenance on site.
  • Prepare and update the metering manuals describing the CLIENT technical & fiscal metering equipment as well as related operating procedures. Ensure the proper saving and storage of data back-up, and documentation.
  • Ensure that periodical meter proving exercise at our LACT points as well as the prover loop calibrations are carried-out asprovided for by the regulations governing operations of such facilities (DPR regulations).
  • Ensure that the fiscal gas metering system quarterly validations, Client Supply Point Technical and Commercial Ticketing Audit are  carried out in compliance with the Gas Utilisation Agreement with the Client and the regulations governing operations of such facilities (DPR regulations).
  • Ensure that the Fiscal Metering systems are fully operational, accurate and comply with the regulations defined by the Authorities.
  • Ensure proper certification of the fiscal metering systems and smooth relations with the DPR with the commercial team.
  • Liase with the Main Maintenance Contractor teams on the necessary corrective actions as relates to the metering systems.
  • Specify the new technical and commercial metering systems in co-operation with instrumentation specialists.
  • Initiate and follow-up the monitoring of performance for the equipment defined within the Field of Competence including Metering Systems, Fire and Gas detection systems, ESD systems, Security control, etc.
  • Work closely with instrumentation Maintenance Methods during metering interventions and share experience(s) accordingly.
  • Provide and clarify flow equation formulae to be entered/ entered on the ICSS.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Support and Smart Room teams for the investigations, follow-up and reporting of deficiencies or significant events.
  • Issue FITA (Failure Investigations and Technical Analysis) reports and REX+ Return of experience related to equipment within the Field of Competence.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc / B.Eng. Degree in any Engineering related discipline such as Instrument/Control/Electronic/Automation/Petroleum/Chemical.
  • 5 to 10 years working experience in an oil producing, manufacturing or service Company with specialized training/competence im Metering techniques.
  • Large Expertise in Metering systems and International Metering Codes (ISO, API, AGA,etc ...) Good relational, presentation and communication skills.
  • Computer literate, with a knowledge of computerised process systems.
  • Ability to organize a mission campaign in an offshore environment

        Job Title: SWE-Drilling Assets, QAQC & Material Planning Engineer Location: Lagos Job Type: Contract Job Description
  • Plan all drilling materials LLM / OCTG Forecast based on Corporate Planning by looking deeply into Available stock, requirement for the proposed wells and place order accordingly in a cost effective manner.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in procurement processes, institute process simplification “LLM / Logistics process control” and compliance through tracking key metrics and remediation of performance as required.
  • Manage material coordination identification, planning, requisition, expediting, staging, and issuance of allocated material in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adequate QA/QC inspection, certification and documentation of materials are implemented and ensure accepted materials are of required grades and good quality to meet production goals.
  • Ensure uninterrupted flow of materials and services to satisfy the demand for Casing, Tubing, Well Heads, Xmas Trees during the execution of technical work program.
  • Take responsibilities of proper documentation of drilling materials LLM/OCTG used or consumed on completed wells by ensuring Materials Completion Certificate MCC is issued, agreed and signed off by the Rig Team, Warehouse and Materials Team for cost control. This helps in cost recovery during Performance with our JV.
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of well operations and rig activities
  • Minimum of 10 years industry experience in oil and gas Company
  • High knowledge of rig equipment and their functionality.
  • Good knowledge of OCTG maintenance, QAQC of drilling & completions equipment and inventory planning / management in line with the technical work program
  • Member of at least one professional body, including SPE
  • Analytical mindset and ability to solve problems

      Job Title: Well Delivery & Operations Manager Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job Type: Contract Job Description
  • Perform managerial duties at Well delivery project levels
  • Responsible for the management and co-ordination of Company's drilling and completions operations, both onshore and offshore (shelf) to achieve immediate business objectives across the Asset
  • Lead the well planning activities for development, appraisal and exploration wells and operational processes / procedures document reviews.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of the drilling risk assessment for field activities.
Requirements
  • A degree qualification in Engineering discipline.
  • Management / supervisory skill set.
  • Excellent technical and communication skills.
  • A minimum 15 years industry experience with an Operating Company.
  • Highly experienced in the drilling industry, with relevant experience in supervising and managing drilling operations onshore and offshore.
  • International experience, preferably West Africa and/or Overseas.
  • Well known in industry drilling community with a wide network of operator and supplier contacts.
  • Ability to communicate in a corporate environment and across geographical areas.
  • A willingness to undertake business trips abroad, including extended visits to the field locations.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage projects across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.

  • Lead the review operational processes, policies, standards and procedures documentations.
  • Responsible for the managing of Drilling and Completion activities related to pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage of contractual, and commercial issues up to award of Contract.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of the drilling risk assessment for field activities
  • Responsible for the "on the job training", development and delivery of competency management programs
  • Engage Legal, SCM and Drilling team and lead the formulation of fully scoped drilling and completions contracts and purchase orders that effectively deal with new challenges or technology, allocate risk, provide legally enforceable obligations and define the work product and KPI that contractors shall provide in support of the drilling and completions activity

Requirements

  • Co-ordinate the Drilling and Completion activities support from the subject matter experts before, during and after well execution across the assets

  • Perform QAQC of Drilling and Completions database and reporting software such as WELLVIEW
  • Monitor WELLVIEW morning report coding to ensure compliant for operations performed using the rig.
  • Benchmark drilling performance tracking across industry using RUSHMORE data software
  • Liaise with Well Services Department to ensure Well Services operations are continuously updated in WELLVIEW
Requirements
  • A degree qualification in an Engineering discipline.

  • Highly experienced in waste management, solid control optimization and drilling fluid management.
