Garden Brown is currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supply Chain Manager Location: Lagos Job type: Full-time Responsibilities

Establish standard operating procedures for purchasing, monitor the overall effectiveness of procedures and revise and improve as necessary
Create and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
Monitor and track timing of deliveries. Verify that product and quantities are correct
Review contracts and ensure compliance between company and vendors
Inventory Planning and Management
Plan and source material purchases
Constant communication with field personnel on status of orders
Identify pricing discrepancies and review best purchasing alternatives with supervisor. Use advanced negotiation skills
Plan and Manage shipping of materials
Generate and distribute accurate purchase orders and provide proof of delivery to AP
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand

Requirements Qualifications and Educatio

Plan and source material purchases

n Requirements:

Sound decision making skills
Ability to gather and analyze data to work with figures
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration is a plus
3+ years experience working in purchasing
Must be familiar with sourcing and vendor management
Skilled in negotiating and networking
